The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt
- By: Edmund Morris
- Narrated by: Harry Chase
- Length: 8 hrs and 52 mins
Available for the first time in audio, The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt is the story of seven men - a naturalist, a writer, a lover, a hunter, a ranchman, a soldier, and a politician - who merged at age 42 to become the youngest American President in history. This first volume of a planned trilogy won both the Pulitzer Prize and American Book Award. The second, Theodore Rex, is also available from audible.com.
One of the best books I've come across.

Could not finish
The flowery extrapolations of this flakey author combined with the bombastic performance of the reader were too much for me.
- The Life, Legend, and Madness of Howard Hughes
- By: Donald L. Barlett, James B. Steele
- Narrated by: Christopher Hurt
- Length: 28 hrs and 53 mins
Howard Hughes lived one of the greatest, most heroic, misunderstood, mysterious, bizarre, and tragic lives in American history. In this brilliantly documented biography, the mythology that surrounded that life is disentangled from the truth.
Loved this from start to finish!

Very well done. Greatly enjoyed it
A very complicated and astounding story masterfully presented. Would highly recommend it if you are interested in Howard Hughes.
