The author does a wonderful job weaving this series together! A little bit action/adventure a little bit science fiction. I highly recommend this series. The story is wonderfully executed and the narration is well done. Kind of Indiana Jones meets Xfiles. I look forward to seeing where the story goes from here!

Set in the world of the Crimson Claymore, although I’m not altogether sure the time line. The story does stand on its own, so if you haven’t read the others in the series the story still makes since. The story flows smoothly and the narration is well done. In a world where men are mucking it up, women must set it straight. I enjoyed the story very much and look forward to seeing if we get more !

I enjoy fantasy, and this is good fantasy! The story flows well, and the narrator does a good job. Not your typical fantasy story, but contains many aspects you would expect in a good fantasy story. Wizards, magic, creatures, and great action sequences. I look forward to listening to the next book to see where the story goes from here!

The story picks up quickly and moves at a nice fluid pace. By the time I got to the end, I was ready for the next book to see where the story goes. Good job! The narration is well done.

The author has done a wonderful job weaving these books together, creating layers of entertaining story lines. The way he merges history, with current events, science and adventure is amazing! Each book on its own is a great story, but all of them together are creating a much bigger story that is wonderful as well. I look forward to listening to the rest of the series!

In the summer of 1985, 15-year-old Sam Crowhurst discovers an old, abandoned cinema that screens movies made by ghosts, for ghosts. Sam and his friends Emma and David find themselves drawn into a world where the likes of Humphrey Bogart, Lon Chaney, and Theda Bara are still making pictures, where Harold Lloyd and John Belushi team up for roustabout comedies, and Karloff and Lugosi appear in films scripted by Edgar Allan Poe. Sam comes to learn the mysteries of the Electric cinema and his part to play in its long and strange history.
