Last night was the most embarrassing night of my life. I was that girl. You know, the highly intoxicated chick celebrating her 30th with her two best friends - the ones who are happily married. And the more I drank, the more I wanted to do something reckless to celebrate. By reckless, I meant the sexy and alluring man dressed in a business suit standing near the bar.

Honestly my only complaint is that I wanted to see more of Kate being in Hunter's daughter's life as the woman he's openly dating. They got along as neighbors but I would have loved a longer look at that life for them. I loved the epilogue and there's a bonus epilogue so that somewhat made up for it. The kid is cute and not overly mature like some kids in books can be. Definitely recommend as someone who loves single dad books.

They say when you assume, you make an ass out of you and me. Kenton Mayson learned this lesson firsthand when he made assumptions about Autumn Freeman and the kind of woman she was based on what little information he had. What he finds out is that she's not only beautiful but also smart, funny, a fighter, and exactly the kind of woman he wants to share his life with. Autumn made assumptions of her own about Kenton, and now he needs to prove her wrong in order to protect her and their future.

The only thing I didn't like was how Kenton got over Autumn being a stripper when he saw her at work. It doesn't change the fact that she was a stripper before, and his mom had no issue with it. So those were all of his hangups he didn't work through.

I liked Ms Wynn's take on vampires. I absolutely love the concept of Fantasy Island. The only thing I really didn't care for was that some of the dialog seemed awkward to listen to. It was a little too explanatory if that makes sense. It was something I probably wouldn't have noticed in text but I did in the audio version.

As an NHL player, relationships haven't been my thing. Shrouded in secrecy and speculation, they never last very long. But then that's what happens when you require an NDA before the first date. Until Charlene. She's like a firefly. She's elusive, and if you catch her she'll burn bright, but keeping her trapped dulls her fire and dims her beauty. I caught her. And as much as I might want to keep her, I'll never put the lid on her jar. Not at the risk of losing her. So I've let her set the rules in our relationship.

I loved the narration. It was perfect. It geld my attention and I absolutely hated people for trying to distract me from my book. The story was great, but so many times I wanted to shake Charlene. I just wanted her to let Darren love her. I loved the epilogue. There's a lot of tying of loose ends. I'm really not ready to let this series go, but considering everything that's happened since the beginning, I can see how everything must come to an end.

I knew not to expect a lot with the book being used an hour, but I need more story. When Tiana finally met Dylan's family, drama happened but we saw none of it. Some parts happened in Tiana's inner thoughts, but all that's ever shown are glimpses. There's no showing of Tiana and Dylan being in a relationship. At one point there was a line that mentioned it had been three weeks. It was difficult to tell who was speaking when it came to the narration. This book just needed more for me.

Of course I cried in this story. My only problem with the story is with Julia. I hope I'm not being too hard on her, but she bothered me. I hated that she and Crew's brother Gage got together. I get Crew left and she moved on, but just like she only had Gage and Crew, and Crew really had was Gage and Julia. After they got together behind his back, those relationships were never the same. I kind of feel sympathy for Crew because Julia never longed for him while married to Gage, but he never stopped loving her. Julia even thought at one point that if Gage hadn't died, they would still be together and would be until their old age. I wonder where Crew would be then. I also hated how Julia pushed everyone away after Gage died. Maybe that was her guilt for messing with her boyfriend's brother, but she should have let Crew help because Everly is his niece. Let him at least help her. My dislike of Julia could not take away from my enjoyment of this book. I loved the narration. Kai and Wen are amazing and didn't disappoint for this one.

When romance novelist Kate Smith suddenly gets writer's block as she's beginning the final installment of her international best-selling erotic Bed 'n Breakfast series, she'll do pretty much anything to get her groove back. Like sneak into a Tire Depot waiting room because her words flow there just like complimentary coffee - smooth, sweet, and scorchingly hot. She manages to fly under the radar until the rugged and charming mechanic, Miles Hudson, notices the quirky redhead slinking in and out of the employees-only entrance. But she's way too intriguing to blow the whistle on.

I don't know how else to put it; she did amazing. Teddy Hamilton was a great choice to pair with her. Katie, the heroine, is the only thing holding me back on absolutely loving this book. She sounded like a Catfish; "Only my name was fake. Everything else about me was true." lol That's a pretty big thing to lie about considering how Miles told her about his ex lying to him. Since I can easily get over that for the sake of fiction, I say 4 stars.

The narrating was wonderful. She did a great job on the various accents in this book. The story it's left was amazing! Cyn goes to an island to fulfill a fantasy and ends up finding a mate that she bonds with on more than just a physical level. It was a great interracial romance that didn't fetishize a race, but rather was two beings finding love who just happened to be different races. I very much so recommend this book!

I love this book. I've reread it many times. I was extremely worried about listening to a favorite read; I didn't know if my imagined emphasis and voices would interfere with my reading enjoyment. I was wrong. I prefer more than one narrator, but this work was well done. The story still caught my attention and nothing was too distracting. The only thing I didn't care for were a few of the voices. Ryan (Spencer's best friend) sounded a little whiny to me, but I was able to get over it.
