I have really enjoyed all of Lindzee's books. This was not an exception. It is a fun book that puts her in quite the predicament. She wants to be loyal to her family but learns things that no daughter wants to know. Her old boyfriend comes into town just as her father wants her to be engaged to someone else.

Lots of twists and turns. Great book!

Everyone in the quiet Jersey Shore town of Silver Bay knows the story: on a Sunday evening in September 1991, Ramsey Miller threw a blowout block party, then murdered his beautiful wife and three-year-old daughter. But everyone is wrong. The daughter got away. Now she is nearly eighteen and tired of living in secrecy. Under the name Melanie Denison, she has spent the last fifteen years in small-town West Virginia as part of the Witness Protection Program. She has never been allowed to travel, go to a school dance, or even have internet at home. Precautions must be taken at every turn, because Ramsey Miller was never caught and might still be looking for his daughter.

Did NOT want to read this. When I kept hearing more great things I decided to get it. The t hought of reading a book about people killing each other put me off but it was very well done and it was not gorey at all. Not detailed in how people die. Great book.

I really loved this book. The narrator did a good job and it was a feel good book. I like a book that doesn't have a lot of swearing and things that if my kids are in the car I would be embarrassed about and this had non of that!!
