Life is beyond our control. It can bring joy, laughter, and happiness, then turn around and rip your heart out of your chest without warning. Abel Matheson received a cold dose of life's reality six months ago when the man he loved most lost his fight against cancer. Easy-going Abel doesn't know how to cope with the rotting, festering grief growing inside him. What was once an easy life has become a struggle to put one foot in front of the other. His grades are slipping, his job is suffering, money is tight, and the nightmares plaguing his sleep are relentless. Something has to give.

I can’t even begin to describe the emotions Nicky James brings out in me while reading her books. Add Adam and I’m a blubbering mess! When he said “hey spidey” I had to take another break... that part in the book was so emotional for me because I love Landon. I loved everything about his character and the way Nicky James wrote him was magical. All her guys are so special and she chose perfectly when she chose Adam to be the voice of her guys! Gosh what a talent! Loved this book and the audio so much! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

With the encouragement of his grandmother, Landon worked his way out of his slump and tried to live life while he still could. Deciding he didn't want to drag anyone else down his morbid path, Landon gave up all friendships and denied himself love.

I love this book. This book holds such a big place in my heart. This book will tear at your heartstrings and have your emotions in its hold. It’s a must read. The audible had my jaw dropping. I never imagined anyone could replace Landon in my head but I was so pleasantly surprised with Adam Gold took hold of my Landon and made him something spectacular. I could listen to this audible over and over and it will never grow old. Thank you Nicky for your amazing guys and your brilliant story telling and thank you Adam for taking her guys and making them something special. ❤️

Confident businessman Joel Rhodes sees the small California town of Lavender Shores as nothing more than a business opportunity and a final stepping stone to the position he's been working toward his entire life. It was supposed to be just one night in town to close the deal, and sleeping with one of the local men, no matter how gorgeous, meant nothing more than a few hours of fun. Andrew Kelly is perfectly content with the life he has in his hometown. So much so that the only thing missing is someone to share it with.
