The author's life with her parents is the phase I'm entering. My parents are not in good health and my dad is battling Alzheimer's disease. This collection of inner thoughts by this author are so relatable to me it really touched my heart. The narration is also beautifully done at just the right tone & pace for the subject matter.

Hi, I'm Alexis Delaney. I'm your average 17-year-old girl. Except I can see the dead. And talk to the dead. And push them away and, well, help them move on. For years I've been struggling to survive the souls still roaming around. The shitheads always seem to find me. Moving from town to town every few months never helped either. More dead just always find me. But things are changing for me now. I'm moving in with my uncle Rory and cousin Tara. I'm finally going to be able to do normal teenage stuff I've been missing out on. Right?

A gifted necromancer Lexie moves in with her uncle after a traumatizing event that takes place with her mom. The young ladies at her new school aren't too happy to have her there but a group of guy's takes up with her almost Immediately. After that the group is bonded like glue. As far as I'm concerned this is more of a bromance between Lexie & the guy's than a romance.
There's not much romance between Lexie and her love interest just light flirty banter. The narrator did do a good job with acting out the character voices, but when will audible get it right? And realize theses books are essentially audio plays. Therefore, if you have M&F narrators the audiences want men playing the male parts and women playing the female parts.

Although John York's voice is pleasurable to listen to I didn't get the animation of characters and edge I wanted out of a horror book from him. Does this mean the narration was bad? Certainly not it just lacked that extra creep factor for me. Now was the book scary? If you view it from the main character's perspective it was. But it didn't give the chills the cover suggested to me. Still, there's a book for everyone and I'm sure some of you will love it. Just because this wasn't a book match for me doesn't mean I won't try another by the same author and narrator in different genre. A very different take on a diet plan that I could easily adhere to. This book is very clear about what is expected of you depending on which Keto path you choose. What I like most about this book are the upfront warnings about why you shouldn't over do it. Especially for those that don't like to workout. It's certainly interesting enough to give it a try. The narration is also well fitting for this book.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is a horror story by American author Washington Irving. Written while Irving was living abroad in Birmingham, England, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow was first published in 1820. It is among the earliest examples of American fiction with enduring popularity, especially during Halloween because of a character known as the Headless Horseman believed to be a Hessian soldier who lost his head to a cannonball in battle.

Sullivan and Will are as close as two friends can be. Growing up in the system forced them to rely on each other, and they've become accustomed to sharing everything - including women. Now they're ready for more. To find love. To start a family. To see the dreams they've shared since childhood come true. Apparently I tick off every box on their list - brains, beauty, and sass. I never hesitate to put both men in their places - which they find sexy as hell. One problem, I'm a traditional girl, with traditional values - one man, one woman, till death do us part - kind of values.

This book is not only erotically hot, but also a beautiful love story.
The author walks us through a polyamorous relationship that works very well once the kinks are ironed out. Instead of 3 people just jumping in and going at it, she builds 1 on 1 relationships, then makes it work as a whole. Making this listen about the love and romance not just sex. The writing coupled with the narration made this a very enjoyable experience. Definitely credit worthy.
