This visually stimulating space themed meditation for children is perfect for calming them down at bedtime. My granddaughter loved listening to a mediation geared for her age group. I definitely recommend this to parents and grandparents who are attempting to get a child focused enough to relax. The narration is also well performed and in a calm tone. This book is perfect for grammar school aged children. I was given a complimentary copy of this book at my request and have voluntarily decided to leave this review.

Inside each of us are seven major energy centers that hold the key to our happiness, sense of ease, and well-being. Research on chakras dates back thousands of years across numerous spiritual traditions. Acupuncture, yoga, reiki, crystals, essential oils, and meditation are among the many methods used to awaken and balance chakras.

I love the way this book breaks down meditations as needed for fine tuning each Chakra without having to listen to the whole book for a single meditation.
It explains what is taking place in the body emotionally and physically when individual Chakra's are out of tune. And what the benefits are when these Chakra's are in tune. I really enjoyed the quick fix fire breath meditation to fine tune all Chakra's in a short amount of time. I also felt like the narration enhanced the appeal of this material and was well done. Not only will I recommend this book to friends, but I'll be revisiting this listen many times in the future. This book takes you through Mark Siedler's spiritual journey along with what he's experienced to become who he is today. Some of his choices aren't necessarily choices I would make for myself, but fortunately he isn't trying to get readers to follow his exact path. The narration is well done and I loved the recommended reference material. For anyone interested in progressing their soul's journey, book's by Brian Weiss and Michael Newton are really a great place to start. I definitely recommend this book to like minded people searching for more information on hypnotherapy, life after life, NDE's, astral projection, and similar topics. I suggest grabbing a pen and paper before listening to this book because it starts with a series of question's that will later determine your mindfulness level after you tally up the score.
I understand that this is an important part of the process, but after being questioned for the first 4 chapters it felt repetitive and mentally draining. This book does offer some suggestions midway through like meditating for a short period and gradually building to a few hours. But who has 3 free hours to meditate in their day? Then you go back through the series of questions to determine your progress. I'm not afraid of doing the work to be more mindful but for me that means being in the moment and apreciating the people and life going on around me not scheduling a 3 hour long meditation session. I'm sure this book is right for someone it just doesn't work for me.

Kids who love animals will enjoy this story about a famous crow with a silver spot on his face...the crow everyone called General Silverspot. People have been talking about his adventures and leadership for more than a hundred years. Now, today's children and their families can learn about the "General" through the eyes of a young boy.

This book is a great way for children to learn respect for wildlife and the personality traits of a crow.
General silverspot is a very important crow to his flock, which I learned is called a murder. It's his job to give commands and keep his family of crows safe. Most kids don't think about how intelligent birds really are, but this book will change that. This book and the narration definitely deserve 5 stars.
