Simple and Effective
I've tried lots of different hypnosis recordings and Glenn Harold's are for me the best by far. I'm not sure exactly why they are so much more effective than the others I've tried, but I have some theories: first, he is a natural at performing hypnosis, unlike many others who seem affected or artificial in their voice and manner--Glenn's voice is very soothing and monotonous in a good way; second, the recording quality is good, which makes a difference; third, the timing is just right in terms of what's said, when it's said, repetitions and pauses; forth, the wording is simple but effective: he uses some "confusion" techniques, but it is subtle and thus non-distracting. This recording is somewhat different from the "raising energy and motivation" hypnosis that I also use (and like equally well) in that it is more of a guided meditation. But all of my observations above still apply. Affirmations are included relating to the function or theme of each chakra, but again the explanations and statements are simple and direct, which makes for a better experience in my opinion. Because it is an enjoyable experience I find it much easier to listen repeatedly without becoming bored, which is important since the more repetition the better with both hypnosis and meditation/relaxation. I am buying some new Glenn Harold products today and intend to use one in the a.m. and one at night.
