I freaking loved this book. Plan on listening to it 5 more times, taking notes & following up any recommendations. I’ve been buying stuff, planning & prepping to leave my job in the spring to start my empire & this book confirmed some thoughts & actions I’ve had & taken. And, gave me a whole bunch of new ideas. It educated me. Some parts even made me laugh out loud. I highly recommend.

The Code of the Extraordinary Mind is a blueprint of laws to break us free from the shackles of ordinary life. It makes a case that everything we know about the world is mostly decided not by rational choice but instead by conditioning and habit. And thus most people live their lives based on limiting rules and outdated beliefs about pretty much everything - love, work, money, parenting, sex, health, and more - that they inherit and pass on from generation to generation.

As a child, Chris Hooper dreamed of monsters. But in deep space, he found only darkness and isolation. Then, on planet LV178, he and his fellow miners discovered a storm-scoured, sand-blasted hell - and trimonite, the hardest material known to man. When a shuttle crashes into the mining ship Marion, the miners learn that there was more than trimonite deep in the caverns. There was evil, hibernating and waiting for suitable prey.
