Also known as Demons, The Possessed is a powerful socio-political novel about revolutionary ideas and the radicals behind them. It follows the career of Pyotr Stepanovich Verkhovensky, a political terrorist who leads a group of nihilists on a demonic quest for societal breakdown. They are consumed by their desires and ideals, and have surrendered themselves fully to the darkness of their "demons". This possession leads them to engulf a quiet provincial town and subject it to a storm of violence.

Despite everything that has been written about the brain, a very important part of this vital organ has been overlooked in most books - until now. The Other Brain is the story of glia, which make up approximately 85 percent of the cells in the brain. Long neglected as little more than cerebral packing material ("glia" means glue), glia are sparking a revolution in brain science.

I will be listening again.
So much practical information here mixed in with actual experience and examples from real people.
Along with mindfulness and awareness training, this book is the the answer to the more ethereal teachings, providing the more practical side to a lot of the metaphysical musings I've encountered.
The book is a wonderful addition to my self help/growth tool box.
I liked the narrator too.
