You have to pay close attention, story has multiple lines and lot of characters.

Harry is gr8 and I loved H. Poirot like reveal of the events and guilty party.

I have also enjoyed how Harry’s private life evolves.

Great love stories (yes, all of them), quite Hard to keep with lot of characters and timeline changes. But it is worth it. Multiple listening runs are recommended to get all the clues.

This is time it is really personal ! And that is why the story flows differently. It takes quite a lot of pages to get the best out of Harry’s detective mind, but last 3 hours are breathtaking ! During my runs listening to this book I laughed, screamed and cried. U R welcomed to do the same...

Again, don’t expect any brilliant detective work nor thrilling story. It is just probe into guilty party mind. Similar to the previous installment. I am not sure whether to continue with this series.

The main detective is lazy and not very clever and the investigation just progresses on and on. Guilty party is shown very early in the book.

The story is more about psychological aspects and motivations why they hurt people.

Interesting, sometimes captivating, but I have enjoyed first book much more.

Again you have nothing to admire about Erika. She is not clever, she is not even able to figure out the guilty party.
But her sister is quite a fighter!
The story flows slowly.
Only last few chapters are thrilling.

The case is not solved because of Erika’s brilliant mind (she doesn’t have one). Just thorough police work. Erika comes with no surprising deduction, the police internal politics is similar. I find no reason to admire her. Last few chapters I wondered why they haven’t had used different more obvious and easier way how catch the killer. It was even mentioned in one sentence in the book. I like Harry Hole series much more...
