Factfulness: The stress-reducing habit of carrying only opinions for which you have strong supporting facts. When asked simple questions about global trends - what percentage of the world's population live in poverty; why the world's population is increasing; how many girls finish school - we systematically get the answers wrong. In Factfulness, professor of international health and global TED phenomenon Hans Rosling, together with his two longtime collaborators, Anna and Ola, offers a radical new explanation of why this happens.

The book reveals what is versus generalized false assumptions. Cabbies, Police Officers, Unbiased Scientists, Unbiased Teachers, Volunteers for most Non-profit Organizations already have an idea of. E.g. Medical doctors in low income communities, Peace Corp. Officers etc. Data driven policies are critical for all our endeavors. Great Book.

In his classic The Age of Spiritual Machines, he argued that computers would soon rival the full range of human intelligence at its best. Now he examines the next step in this inexorable evolutionary process: the union of human and machine.

Great communication requires clarity not fanciful words that fail to convey the message or information. The author presented his projections and theories based on his experiences and historical trends. He also presented and analyzed the theories of his critics which in turn gives the reader the option to make his or her own projection. The law of exponential growth cannot be ignored = (Killer Statement) If you don’t understand the law of exponential growth then go back and reread. The book is a gift.

From war powers to health care, freedom of speech to gun ownership, religious liberty to abortion, practically every aspect of American life is shaped by the Constitution. This vital document, along with its history of political and judicial interpretation, governs our individual lives and the life of our nation. Yet most of us know surprisingly little about the Constitution itself, and are woefully unprepared to think for ourselves about recent developments in its long and storied history.
