A Dangerous Engagement
- The Regency Spies of London, Book 3
- By: Melanie Dickerson
- Narrated by: Anna Parker-Naples
- Length: 8 hrs and 50 mins
Just as merchant's daughter Felicity Mayson is spurned once again because of her meager dowry, she receives an unexpected invitation to Lady Blackstone's country home. Being introduced to the wealthy Oliver Ratley is an admitted delight, as is his rather heedless yet inviting proposal of marriage. Only when another of Lady Blackstone's handsome guests catches Felicity's attention does she realize that nothing is what it seems at Doverton Hall.
Why, WHY do they keep using this narrator?!?

Big disappointment. It was hard to finish.
I was very disappointed with this book. I enjoyed the first two books in The Regency Spies series. The writing seemed very juvenile. And maybe that was because Felicity was supposed to be portrayed as young and inexperienced. Whatever it was it was annoying to me through the whole book.
- The Cousins O'Dwyer Trilogy, Book 1
- By: Nora Roberts
- Narrated by: Katherine Kellgren
- Length: 10 hrs and 41 mins
With indifferent parents, Iona Sheehan grew up craving devotion and acceptance. From her maternal grandmother, she learned where to find both: a land of lush forests, dazzling lakes, and centuries-old legends. Ireland. County Mayo, to be exact. Where her ancestors’ blood and magic have flowed through generations - and where her destiny awaits.
Turn the volume down!

Good Story, Terrible Narration.
What made the experience of listening to Dark Witch the most enjoyable?
The relationship that develops between the cousins.
Would you be willing to try another one of Katherine Kellgren’s performances?
No, no and no. This was painful to listen to. Yelled through out story and way to dramatic..
Any additional comments?
The romance was a little weak, but still a good story.
