What's the probability of insulting the one guy on campus I need to help me pass statistics? If I knew, I wouldn't be standing in front of Wes Reynolds begging him to tutor me. Basketball player, sexy, arrogant, always sleeping through class...these are the things I knew about him. What I didn't know is that he is a seriously smart jock.

This story surprised the heck out of me in a very good way.

Roles are reversed and it is the heroine needing help, and the athlete the one with the brain.

I enjoyed the slow-burn and subsequent fireworks between the main characters. They both go through very unpleasant and/or tragic events that are resolved beautifully to end in their Happily Ever After.

I enjoyed this audio book very much, and would highly recommend it for fans of Sports Romance.

Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon are always awesome!

I just couldn’t feel connected to the main characters. I liked Tenn better than Casey, but still the story didn’t give me the “feels” a good Romance always leaves me with.

I am in the minority with my not so positive review so don’t stop listening just because this story (and series) was not for me.

******SPOILERS - SPOILERS - SPOILERS******

I just couldn't get over the way Gavin left (even taking into consideration his inner demons), and couldn't go back to liking him and seeing the main characters as a couple.

Gavin has demons that he tries to beat into submission by drinking, doing drugs, and being a complete pervert. We later find out why, and it is indeed a tragedy. However, that doesn't give him carte blanche to treat all people the way he does.

He leaves England for North Carolina to try to work on his writing and meet his Publisher's deadline. He believes the change of scenery will help.

He meets shy Savannah, and he tries to "break" her. He is not only into self destruct mode, but he wants to destroy women in general. In the midst of all this, Gavin and Savannah find themselves liking each other. They share their demons and they start falling for each other and blah, blah, blah...

Stuff hits the fan, and Gavin runs back to England leaving Savannah in North Carolina without even looking back cutting her off completely from his life. He comes back months later not even to try to fix things, but for a book signing in New York. He is not the one who comes back to fix what he broke. He is not the one who seeks contact after the horrible way he treated Savannah.

Maybe if he would have come back sooner, and groveling after what he did, I would have gotten over his dastardly, cowardly behavior, but it was Savannah the one who went to New York looking for him - even if she ran afterwards.

Only after she runs from him is that he decides to contact her, and goes back to North Carolina when she doesn't reply to his attempts to communicate.

I just couldn't like Gavin again after all he did and said, and after he took so long to do something about it, and I am not even sure he would have done anything about it if Savannah hadn't gone looking for him to begin with.

I couldn't get past the "insta-forgiveness" from the heroine which almost made me want to puke.

By the end, to me, the hero is an irredeemable ass, and the heroine a doormat. So nope, this story is not for me.

The heroine was a doormat for the nasty guy, and bitchy with the nice guy. She doesn't like the one guy, but she lets him get away with accosting her and insulting her, while she bitches at the hero for everything. I didn't like the heroine's stringing the nasty guy along in the guise of maintaining a friendship, when the guy keeps coming on to her, and she doesn't stop it. There is more, but I won't get into it. This story was just not for me.

She is put through the wringer until the reason she left the way she did comes to light.

Mistakes were made, misunderstandings abounded, but at the end love and forgiveness win the day!

A very enjoyable story beautifully narrated.

I love Carolyn Brown stories, and this one is no exception.

Well developed characters, with the heroines sticking together through thick and thin.

This story brings many feelings to the surface as there is heartache, betrayal, friendship, abuse, neglect, compassion, and so much more which combines for a wonderful tale that brings a well deserved Happily Ever After to all three heroines.

I absolutely enjoyed this audiobook and recommend it highly!

Very enjoyable listen. The reason for the main characters enmity was brought to light soon enough. It shows how what seems a little innocent lie can derail a person’s whole life. Both main characters have grown to be good hearted, even though one of them had it difficult growing up. They don’t hold grudges, and forgiveness brings them peace and they do get their Happily Ever After!

My name is Skylar Quinn. I just moved to New York with my best friend Bridget, and I have a confession. Well, more than one. Okay, quite a few really. Fine, here goes! Confession number one: I'm a sex columnist. Hold on, that's not really the confession. You see, I'm sort of a virgin...sex columnist. Confession number two: I'm kind of in love with Bridget's older brother, Oliver. No, I was. No, I am. Wait, was? Am? Crap. Confession number three: I've been avoiding Oliver for four years. Or I was until today, because he just moved in. Yes, you read that correctly. He's my new roommate.

Loved this story.

Love finally comes for a man who has patiently waited for it while the woman he loves needed to mature and grow up.

I listened to this novella which got me curious about the rest of the series, and I hope the other books are as good as this one.
