Does the word endometriosis make you want to stick a fork in your eye? No? Then perhaps this book isn't for you. It's funny, and (sometimes alarmingly) frank. It contains an impressive array of synonyms for vagina and it's certainly NSFW. It's about having a devil womb and a hot knife lodged in a shoulder. It's about becoming blackly bitter and twisted in infertility, and then slowly finding a way to untwist. It's part memoir, part dark comedy, wrapped up loosely as a journal full of TMI and quirk.

I looked this audiobook and the narration was spot on. I felt as is the narrator was actually living the author's life and going through the infertility treatments herself. This book is a very candid look at infertility and it's ups and downs. As someone who has battled and overcome (if you ever truly "overcome" IF) this is a book that hit very close to home. Listening to this story I found myself wanting to reach out and hug the author many times and agreeing with what she was writing. Some of the experiences were different from my own but so relatable as it's a community that IF touches and we all can relate to the pain. It's so poignant and touching and her candor, humor and honesty was refreshing. I would recommend this to people both who have experienced or know someone who is going through IF.

This was my first book by Vivian Ward and I enjoyed her writing style. It was a very descriptive style of writing and the sex scenes were hot. The two main characters have great chemistry despite them having completely different backgrounds.

This is a two-part book that does end in a cliffhanger so be aware if you are reading this that it is a cliffhanger and be prepared to buy a second book. I know some people get annoyed if they don't know that going in so I like to make that known in my reviews. It doesn't bug me and I actually like that in some of my stories as it gives it more drama :)

The narration was well done and you could tell the difference between the different characters. His narration speed was also spot on and I found myself hooked on the story thanks to his narration just as much as the storyline itself.

But why, then, can't she stop staring at ex-fiancee Rob's big blue eyes from the minute she finds him on Facebook? And why does she agree to go to a mutual friend's wedding in Rome - accompanied by her very loud and touristy mom and even louder gin-and-tonic drinking friend, Lori - when she knows he will be there? It can only mean one thing: trouble.

This is an easy romance listen that was a nice change of pace for me. Helen a middle-aged woman is faced with the opportunity to go to Rome and see her ex-boyfriend "the one that got away". When she chooses to go to Rome and face her long set aside feelings what will happen? Will she choose her long-lost love or return to her husband of 20 years?

This book is very well written and grabs at your emotions. You can feel Helen's torn feelings for both her husband and her ex. You can imagine being in the place of choosing between both men. Brenda Wlazlo does a great job narrating the book and portraying Charlotte Roth's writings.

This was my first book by Kacey Shea and I really enjoyed her writing style. She provided enough background on her characters to make you invested in them but left enough open that you had some mysteries left to solve. This book had drama and comedy in it. You will feel connected to the characters as they aren't perfect which is something I look for in books. You will hate them at some times and love them at others.

Savannah's performance was perfection. She does a great job narrating this storyline which is told from Callie's point of view. Her tone and pacing were spot on. I felt the emotion of Callie through her narration and that she connected to the character she was reading.

When I read the synopsis for this book I was really excited to read this book but I was overall let down by the book and I think it overall was due to poor narration. I believe if I would have read this book in paper form it would have been much better. The overall plot and writing style was not too bad but I found myself getting turned off by the flat monotone narration style. I actually tuned out several times and had to rewind and relisten to the part to understand what I missed. When it comes to narration it's important to have different tones for characters and to feel that you connect to the people being portrayed and I felt that was missing from this book. I've listened to over 900 books and this would be placed in one of my bottom 20 when it comes to performances.

This was my first book by Magan Vernon and I found her writing style very enjoyable and easy to follow. Her character development was nice and not over the top. Her characters are likable, believable and you feel like you know them by the end of the first chapter. This is a nice second chance romance without too much drama. Its an easy listen that you can complete within one to two listens as it's just over 5 hours. I liked that it wasn't too angsty and can be a nice summer, vacation or beach read.

The narration on this book was very well done as she had many different characters to portray and differentiate between. I found her pacing and pronunciations easy to listen to and would listen to another audiobook by her again without hesitation.

This was my first J.L. Sheppard book and I enjoyed listening to it. It's not your typical MC book as it's very dark and hard to listen to which was a nice change of pace for me. This is a "slow burn" type of romance. Cuss has been in love with Tiff since he was 16 but felt like he doesn't deserve her. He has always protected her from her bad choices in men and now he is out to win her heart. Will they he have what it takes to win her heart?

Dawson McBride does a good job narrating this book. His voice is perfect for a biker and his inflections are spot on. I would have loved to have a female narrator also been part of the book for Tiff but that's just a personal preference.

Yes, I would listen to this story again as it has enough going on that it keeps the reader/listener interested throughout it. I never felt like I was bored or that I wanted to fast forward to "get to the good stuff" like I do in some other stories.

What about Tracy Marks and Aaron Shedlock ’s performance did you like?

Both Tracy and Aaron narrate in a way the bring their characters to life. They put a lot of emotion and passion into their narration so you can feel their characters in their storytelling. Their tones, paces and inflections blend together perfectly to make this story work well.

There was a lot of character development and I felt like I really connected to them throughout the storyline. Melissa puts a lot of emotions into her characters and you can feel them in her writing style. There is also some great sex scenes which is always nice in a romance novel. I like that I also got to know other characters and want to read their books as well.
