Welcome to the hilarious, strange, elegiac, outrageous world of David Sedaris. In Naked, Sedaris turns the current mania for the memoir on its proverbial ear, mining the exceedingly rich terrain of his life, his family, and his unique worldview, a sensibility at once take-no-prisoners sharp and deeply charitable.

I love David Sedaris, but this one left me with a sour taste. I enjoy his later works much more.

To make the journey into The Power of Now you need to leave your analytical mind and its false created self, the ego, behind. Access to the Now is everywhere - in the body, the silence, and the space all around you. These are the keys to enter a state of inner peace.

Very informative and enlightening but the delivery is terrible. Droning monotone and hard to listen to in long stretches.

In this illuminating and deeply moving memoir, a former American military intelligence officer goes beyond traditional Cold War espionage tales to tell the true story of her family - of five women separated by the Iron Curtain for more than 40 years and their miraculous reunion after the fall of the Berlin Wall. A personal look at a tenuous era that divided a city and a nation and continues to haunt us, Forty Autumns is an intimate and beautifully written story of courage, resilience, and love.

The Amy Binegar-Kimmes-Lyle Book of Failures is a funny memoir. If you have ever failed at love or finances, been fired, not fit in, self-diagnosed yourself with disorders and conditions, and/or said "I really need to get my s*** together", this is the book for you.

I wanted to like this. The preview led me to believe that this would be a funny book to lift my spirits. It was trite, immature and left me feeling like I wasted hours of my time waiting for it to get good. The stories also left me hanging, mome of the chapters just end abruptly without a purpose or punchline. Very disappointing.

Who is that hairy guy in the green Speedo? Rob Delaney is a father, a husband, a comedian, a writer. He is the author of an endless stream of beautiful, insane jokes on Twitter. He is sober. He is sometimes brave. He speaks French. He loves women with abundant pubic hair and saggy naturals. He has bungee jumped off of the Manhattan Bridge. He enjoys antagonizing political figures. He listens to metal while he works out. He likes to fart. He broke into an abandoned mental hospital with his mother.

Would you consider the audio edition of Rob Delaney to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the print version, but as I listen, I love the sound of his voice as he's reliving all of the episodes in the book.

What did you like best about this story?

It sucks you in from the beginning and keeps you enthralled straight through to the last word. I didn't want it to end. Compellingly and smartly told - sad, cerebral yet ultimately uplifting.

Have you listened to any of Rob Delaney’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, but I will now.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I don't think the title should/could be added to.

Any additional comments?

For the millions out there who have been to those dark places, thanks for sharing and enlightening and giving a glimmer of hope.
