I really enjoyed listening to this story. The narration by Frank Muller was For me spellbinding and almost hypnotic. All of the characters came alive as if I were watching a movie.

History was made at the 2015 Belmont Stakes when American Pharoah won the Triple Crown, the first since Affirmed in 1978. As magnificent as the champion is, the team behind him has been all too human while on the road to immortality.

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Would you consider the audio edition of Artemis to be better than the print version?

The audio version is amazing. I have probably listened to this eight times and I still love it!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Artemis?

There is not one moment that I like better than any of the others, every moment in this story is so real, it is as if I am living it.

Which character – as performed by Rosario Dawson – was your favorite?

Jazz without a doubt is my favorite! She is sooo funny.

I'd been living on the streets for around eight months before I lost count. It wasn't easy, but it was still preferable to what I had to deal with at home. In all that time, unable to trust anyone, I had been alone (I knew from experience that people always failed you). Then one day, while out searching for food, I stumbled upon this mangy dog being attacked. It wasn't a big deal to help him, but then he ended up saving my life which is when I realized there was something special about him: Muttface wasn't a normal dog - he was crazy intelligent. I'm talking Mensa levels. And he wasn't an accident either, having recently escaped from a mysterious lab.

Heather Masters narration of this exciting story is really something special. She reads with an amazing emotional versatility and wonderful wry sense of humor, which I had completely missed when I read this first as a book. I reveled in Chase’s personality with the subtle inflections in her voice and marveled at the deep voice and unsympathetic hardness of the professional mercenary.

It was as if I was watching a film. Quite a few times I was so engrossed in the story that I reached for the iPad to adjust the picture or reached for my glasses because I couldn’t see it quite clearly enough, and then laughed, realizing I was listening to a an audiobook.
