Fixer. Bodyguard. Advocate. Brann Calder is expected to play all these roles and more as a member of Torus Intercession, a security firm guaranteed to right what’s wrong. In the military, catastrophe was his specialty. Five months out of the service, Brann is still finding his way, so a new assignment might be just what he needs. Unless it includes two things sure to make a seasoned, battle-trained veteran nervous: life in a small town, and playing caregiver to two little girls.

This easily Mary Calmes has written.

Worth your attention and time.

Not the formulaic guy meets guy in a coffeehouse and fall instantly in lovethe second chapter and then drones on 22 chapters of fluff.

This is actually balanced and very well constructed story, surprisingly even for Mary.

Adriana Herrera has found a new way to bore a reader even with the best LGBT Narrator.

Possibly with an editor that cuts half the length and find someway to enable better story and character development of the book might help but doubtful, it should not take 2,000 words to describe a person walking to the kitchen.

Simply the book is formulaic and tedious... oh an tedious... tediously tedious.

It’s a good thing assistant US attorney Dominic Price co-owns a brewery. He could use a cold one. Nic’s star witness has just been kidnapped, his joint operation with the FBI is in jeopardy, his father’s shady past is catching up with him, and the hot new special agent in San Francisco is the kind of distraction best handled with a stiff drink.

I loved the first books Whiskey/Rye. Sadly the grammar and ill constructed <jumbled> story line, makes this book for me a huge disappointment. I had hoped for a great summer read. But, as to often the case, another example of a publisher obvious attempt to cash in, after a great series.

The world ends not with a bang, but with a downpour. People rally at first - organizing aid drops and evacuating populations - but the weather is only getting worse. In Durham, mild-mannered academic Danny Fennick has battened down to sit out the storm. He grew up in the Scottish Highlands, so he’s seen harsh winters before. Besides, he has an advantage. He’s a werewolf. Or, to be precise, a were-dog. Less impressive, but still useful.

Such hope to enjoy this book, at the kindest it has a lot of words, truly THE BOOK HAD A good premise... but which evolves to a tedious slow finish with long rambling paragraphs to describe 5 min event “I went to wash my hands” takes a good 20 pages to describe the BM event”

if the actors were on stage at the curtain call they would stage whisper to audience...”if anyone knows what this was about, we will buy you a beer and you can explain why we all wasted8 hours together... so may be it was a bdsm book to see if the author could break us down and crying for it to STOP.. the pain...

So, watch watch wallpaper dry...you will have a much enjoyable day... or take a walk in the park with your BF
