Paulo Coelho's enchanting novel has inspired a devoted following around the world. This story, dazzling in its simplicity and wisdom, is about an Andalusian shepherd boy named Santiago who travels from his homeland in Spain to the Egyptian desert in search of treasure buried in the Pyramids. I've read this book at least 50 times and every time I come away with a new bit of wisdom, inspiration, and passion for my life and my dreams. This is one of my top three books of all time. Beautifully written from the heart. I believe it was divinely inspired. And, the narration and performance are remarkable in that they make this amazing work of art into an even more intriguing, can't put it down, love letter to all of us dreamers.

Christmas Eve, 1914 follows one company of British officers as they rotate forward to spend their Christmas on the front lines, a mere 80 yards from the German guns. Upper- and working-class men and boys are thrown together into one trench and struggle to survive.

Man, I loved this book! I thought the authors work with the Will Robie series was top shelf stuff, and it is, but this was a shelf above that even. Captivating characters, a storyline that just enthralls, superb performances from McLarty and Cassidy again, and a plot that twists and turns and leaves one unable to stop reading. The main character is one of my favorites now, and I look forward to more of this stuff, baby!
