Years after suffering the tragic loss of her husband, Ethan, which left her alone to raise their young daughter, Clare Murray still holds the last letter he wrote with the words "When You're Ready" written in his familiar messy handwriting, unable to break its weathered seal. Ready for what? He was her entire world, and Clare had accepted a life without him, without love. Until years later, fate brings her to an emergency room, and face to face with a stormy-eyed doctor intent on changing her mind.

I loved the book. But the narration could have been a little better. The narration of the little girl was too babyish and the female friends narration was kind of annoying. Just loud and obnoxious.

Chloe Madison. That's me. A former NYU princess who just fell from grace, right off my pampered Manhattan throne and onto the unforgiving steps of Nicole Brantley, socialite and queen bitch. Now, I walk her dog and mix her smoothies. Try to navigate my own problems while fixing all of hers. I want what every New York girl wants. A career, an apartment, and true love, preferably in a smoking hot package. It turns out I'll have to fight for all of it.

I found it very difficult to get into this book. The narrator was just so so and the story line was ok. Another thing I was disappointed about, Audible states it to be a “hot damn,” it was a sweet at best.

"My name is different every month: Brandy, Honey, Amy. Sometimes Joe doesn't even bother to ask, but he never fails to arouse me with his body, his mouth, his touch, no matter what I'm called or where he picks me up. The sex is always amazing....My real name is Sadie, and once a month, over lunch, Joe tells me about his latest conquest. But what Joe doesn't know is that, in my mind, I'm the star of every one-night stand he has revealed to me, or that I'm practically obsessed with our imaginary sex life."

I'm surprised I made it 2 hours in. The story was subpar and the narrator wasn't very good either. The mom's portrayal was awful! I can't say I'll be listening to a book by this author or narrator again.

TJ asked me to be his fiancé for four weeks. I'm hoping to make the engagement real. I know. I can't believe it either. What am I thinking? There are so many things that could go wrong by accepting to be TJ's four-week fiancé. But, I can't stop thinking that there are also so many things that could go right.

The story had potential, but the story lacked. The main character was too childish. It sounded like it would be a good book, but it was hard to get past the childish behavior.
