I really hate when the women are attracted guys that are jerks. It makes the heroine look stupid and desperate. It is hard to care what happens to either of them.

The story was great, but the word "grimaced" was used way more than normal and it stood out because of the narrator's accent pronouncing it grim ACED. It was really annoying after a short while.

I really like some of these books and others not so much. This one was a not so much. He is a dick to her and pretty much everyone else. I didn't like Jack, Mac, and now Wyatt. If you didn't like Jack or Mac you should definitely skip this one.

I will like this series, but I miss Jim Frangione. The new guy has a nasal female voice that is a little off putting. Not irritating enough to avoid the book, just not what I have come to expect from Foster's audio books.

They did not edit the recording at all. The narrator repeats flubbed lines and they just left it in there. I could only stand about 15 minutes before I had to turn it off.
