Provides a survey of key political, economic, cultural, and news/entertainment media changes in the US since the resignation of US President Richard Nixon. The author presents his opinion of the impacts on internal US politics following each major shift. Highly recommended!

First, I'd like to say that I am truly a "lay" science reader. When I pick up books like this, I'm usually trying to find the source of some science fiction writer's ideas.

Second, I'd probably find a Chinese menu fascinating, if it was read by Ray Porter.

Third, I'm a "skim-reader" and usually don't finish books like this one.

I listened to this book like a mystery novel and could neither set it aside nor wait to see what happens next.

Great job, everyone!

Be careful Ms. Harrison, you might just have a hit TV series on your hands. I enjoyed the characters, the story-line, and hints of a dark side - with power and adult relationships. Keep it up! I'm a fan!

Stephen King has refined his craft like a fine Cabernet. Rich characters, an excellent story that balances and combines deep subplots, and the right amount of macabre psychological tension all produce another vintage King novel.

Will Patton is one of the finest narrators you will ever have the pleasure of hearing. Each character's voice is unique and tuned to the context of the story. He provides a complete ensemble cast for this novel and produces just the right finishing touches to bring this story to life. I'm a huge fan!

I highly recommend this production of "Finders Keepers"!

Tragic character overcomes major obstacles to prove that he can still save the world. Most of the story is set in modern-day Russia with plenty of gangsters and nouveau riche. Lots of action!

Concise and well-performed. This is. An excellent treatment of what can be a difficult read. I'd love to listen to a follow-up providing examples from the U.S. civil war. I think this could well be a hit series!

Fans will enjoy this action-packed chapter; newcomers meet the gang. I was left wondering if the title should read "Part One".

Can I assume "Part Two" is at the publisher? Why pay for one when you can pay for two?

The plot and characters are first-rate. Although I found the primary villains just a little "over the top" there is still room for the the mere two-bit and sleazy villains to add that extra color!

Well done and highly recommended.

Despite the narrator's lack of emotion, the author has an interesting and unpredictable plot. Zombies take a back seat and the focus is on the humans - the best and worst of society.

I have not read the first book in this series, but this book can stand on its own merit.
