I'm Ash Evans. The life of the party. Hot. Rich. Charismatic. A tattooed rock star with the world at my feet. I burn through women faster than the strike of a match. I've embraced my lifestyle and live it to the fullest. Until the day my lifestyle caught up to me. Willow Langston found me at my lowest. Literally. Facedown in a puddle of my own blood. I owe her my life and I have three months to repay that debt. What I never should have done was touch her. Kiss her. Take her to my bed. Love wasn't supposed to be a part of the equation.

Dear Nicole,

I don’t know how to begin to thank you for telling your story. It was one of the honest things I have ever read. It was real, ugly and raw. You took me on unforgettable journey. I was able to witness the inside view of addiction. I cried with you. I hurt with you. I wanted to wrap you in my arms and keep you safe. I read every day to check on you, but some days I just couldn’t. I was worried if you were hungry or cold. Did you make it home? Have you been to sleep? I just needed to know you were okay. Your story is painful and gut-wrenching... but I want you to know that I think you are very brave. I think you’re stronger than you realize. It lives deep within your soul. I wish you nothing but the best in life. May all your hopes and dreams come true. I hope to pick up part two "Scars from a Memoir" soon to see how you have progressed in life. I hope that others learn from your experience. If this experience can save one life... then it was all worth telling your story. I’ll think of you often. Make us proud. Make yourself proud.

All the best,
Carol

Extraordinary writing by author Marni Mann. She pulls you in and gives you a front row seat.

Arden Hammermith was unforgettable in her performance. Her narration is one of the best I've heard this year. She came prepared with each character, accent and emotion. I highly recommend a listen.

I keep my two worlds separate. At work, I'm King of Wall Street. The heaviest hitters in Manhattan come to me to make money. They do whatever I say because I'm always right. I'm shrewd. Exacting. Some say ruthless. At home, I'm a single dad trying to keep his 14-year-old daughter a kid for as long as possible. If my daughter does what I say, somewhere there's a snowball surviving in hell. And nothing I say is ever right.

Sometimes you just want to get lost in a dreamy, sexy romance novel. King of Wall Street is a forbidden office romance that is too hard to resist. The writing is realistic, captivating and flawless. You can feel the undeniable chemistry between Max and Harper.

Louise Bay did a wonderful job with smart, strong, relatable characters coming to terms with where they are in life and what they want in their future. I just adored the additional characters that come into play to help them along.

This book has it all. A wonderful, contemporary romance with an HEA. I highly recommend sitting back and listening to the wonderful performance!

I really enjoyed the innocence about this story. Allie is sweet and sheltered. Having grown up under the rule of her overbearing stepfather, now she is craving freedom. She is ready to spread her wings and fly. Chase Halloway enters Allie’s world in perfect timing. He’s cool, calm and confident. Like Allie, his world is planned out for him and he wants to break free.

I loved the immediate attraction these two had. They have a silent understanding about their hopes and dreams. Going after what they want in life. Can they be each other’s salvation?

The soft and sultry grumble of Tanya Eby’s voice was the perfect portrayal. I thoroughly enjoyed her narration telling Alli's story with a little bit of grit behind each word.

I look forward to continuing this series.

Blood to Dust is an adrenaline pumping, one hundred mile an hour, high speed chase.

Suppressed by the system, lies and betrayal, Nate and Prescott have one thing in common. They both have had to claw their way out of despair, relying on their own self-preservation. Thrust together, they justifiably live by their own rules, while seeking answers by those who have deceived them.

Each chapter is smart, well-crafted and intense as it takes you deeper into the story. Blood to Dust is the perfect combination of raw and honest moments. The characters come to terms with their reality and define their future. Driven with revenge, Nate and Prescott seek to calm their storm and find their peace.

LJ Shen’s writing is stellar as she takes you through a range of emotions. She stands out in a league of her own with her original stamp of unapologetic chaos.

Michael Pauley delivered a powerful performance. His narration was the perfect complement to this book. From the first spoken work he became Nate. He lures you in and holds you captive.

"We’re polar opposites. He’s peace looking for color, and I’m a storm looking for serenity. And somewhere between chaos and his peace, we found each other. Even crazier—we want to save one another."

He's dark and mysterious. Quiet and lethal. An Irish mobster. Pure sin wrapped up in a beautiful package. But there's also something off about him. He doesn't feel anything. He shows no emotions. Sometimes, I question his humanity. He hasn't spoken to me in two years. Not a single word. But we share a secret, he and I. And if it ever comes out, I have no doubt in my mind.... He won't have a problem killing me, too.

Two broken souls, light versus dark. Reaper is heartbreaking, emotional, and beautiful. The tempo kept me on the sharp edge of a razor. Disturbing at times, dark but tender. I loved the intense pull between these two characters. They’re challenging of each other, affected and willing to uncover the deeply buried beauty from within.

With perfect timing, a touch of humor was added in times of despair. Beloved characters from Crow (Boston Underworld 1) return providing unanswered questions as we are lead deeper into the Boston underworld.

Author A. Zavarelli has gifted us with remarkable characters that we instantly want to hold, love and heal. I applaud her originality and exceptional writing ability. I look forward to so much more.

I'm in love with the narration by Tracy Marks, I'm so happy she's back in Book 2. She provides us with all the dark and grit that lives on the pages. She gives a remarkable performance in Reaper.

The sexually charged tempo of this book kept me in an intoxicated state of bliss. Troy Brennan makes no apologies for who he is and what he does. He’s edgy, demanding and makes no excuses. Sparrow Raynes is a smart girl, yet stubborn and determined. Coming together from two completely different backgrounds, they have to find a way to come together. After all, they just got married.

The banter between Troy and Sparrow is unforgettable and seductive. Sparring with words – they both give as much as they take. The chemistry between these two is off the charts.
I loved the anticipation of what was going to happen next. Sparrow is full of twists and turns, keeping you on your toes.

L.J. Shen has a natural talent for bringing two headstrong characters together within a deep plot. They may have flaws, but they deserve love and redemption and Shen delivers.

The audiobook narrated by Michael Pauley was hands down the perfect choice. I loved his portrayal of both characters. The combination of a sexy accent and cocky attitude was the perfect mix for an intense storytelling experience.

Turns out, infiltrating the Irish mafia isn't exactly what I thought it would be. I just wanted a soldier. Someone I could flirt with to get me in the door. That's when Lachlan Crow noticed me.
