This was a good book with true LITRPG elements. It includes player stats, weapon stats, etc. Some books have a hard time reading them out, but this book did a good job with them. I enjoyed the story, but would have liked to find out what is actually going on with their bodies. Maybe the next book will go more into their circumstances. Narration was great, each character had their own voice and was easy to understand. I received this book for free for my honest review.

The premise of the book and the direction of where aliens came from was very interesting, but unfortunately the ending was a little out of place and not convincing enough as a plausible outcome. The book moves at a fast pace, but is a bit wordy and repetitive in some areas. I understand why the Mormon story is put there, but the Christian remarks seem unfitting and unnecessary for this book, just like it was in Flux. Seems more like somebody trying to just fit their beliefs in. The characters are enjoyable and I do like the sarcastic banter. The narration from RC Bray was great and on point. I still think it is worth a listen. Flux also takes place in the same Universe. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Time travel story about a man who never got over the death of his father and is forced to confront it. With out spoiling anything, he is forced back into time through different time periods of his hometown. Along the way there are many different encounters that lead to some intense and horrific encounters.
The story moves along fast, was easy to listen to and the characters were enjoyable and easy to follow. The book seems to take place after another one of Jeremy's book called, The Others. It appears to be a stand alone and The Others isn't required to read this one it seems. The only things I didn't care for was the religious aspect for some of the explanations and the ending. The ending felt like it was missing something and a little too clean compared to the rest of the book.
The narration was great and reminds me of RC Bray. There aren't unique voices, but there is enough change in pitch and accent to distinguish between the characters. 3.75 stars. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This collection of short stories has a wide selection of genres. Most are under 20 minutes, so if you want to get a quick listen in, these are great. They were a fun and quick read with interesting outcomes. Even though they are short, they have a sense of closure, except for the last story, which is more of an excerpt. The narration was great with some changes in voice for the characters. I recommend this book. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This was simple story about survival, but it was executed with such detail, you felt like you were there. The descriptions and explanations keep your attention throughout the book and the realness makes the story more believable. The writing was great, fast paced and the characters very likeable. This was a great story about perseverance, and what we are capable of when we are pulled from our comfort zone and are forced to protect the ones we love. Prepare for the many different emotions this book will take you through. The narration was great from Luke, not too many voices to act out, but the way he performs books, always adds to their experience. I recommend this book. I liked Dean's Jack Elliot series, but couldn't really enjoy this one. I almost quit at one point. The story starts of interesting with humans in the future using an unlimited source of energy, but having an alien race come and take it away from them. They also have to relearn about fossil fuels and the long lasting effects of its use. The story starts off slow and takes a weird turn when the main character lands on an unknown planet. This is where I think too much is thrown into this sci-fi book. We have space, aliens, cyborgs, Gods, Mythical creatures, Magic, etc. There is too much weird tangents going on trying to explain everything. The characters talk like they're juveniles, but this clearly isn't a YA novel. The narration was slow, and didn't really fit for a Sci-fi novel. The uniqueness in the character voices wasn't there and neither was the enthusiasm. Tough listen. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

4.5 stars. This was a very enjoyable LITRPG with actual RPG elements. I think some authors have a difficult time adding RPG elements such as stats and lore to their books, but Rowland does a great job without it being cumbersome. The explanation for the full VR experience was very good and the story building goes along at a good pace. The characters are all very well done and likeable. This wasn't really a funny book, but it didn't need to be. The game elements keep it fun and enjoyable. Any gamer would enjoy this book. The narration was very good with unique voices for all characters. I have added Rowland and Eric to my list of Authors and Narrators. Look forward to listening to more from them and book 2. A fun book with Aliens, gaming and crude humor. The book was a nice unexpected change from other space and gaming books. I was not expecting the battle royale aspect of the book to play so well. The characters are very likable and the pace of the book was great. I really enjoyed the crude humor and dark jokes. There are also a lot of 80s & 90s references for all of the old people. The narration by each person was great, but really hate this type of execution. The voices each narrator represents was great, but instead of reading their own lines, they each take a chapter and read all of the characters as their own. This really takes you out of the story sometimes and is a little confusing at first hearing the same characters with different voices. I really enjoyed the book and look forward to possible more in the future. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
