Mr Ambercrombie pulls me back in. I usually do not listen to short stories, but I had to give this one a go. Wow, it was awesome. Even though the stories are like 35-55 min long each they feel longer and leave you satisfied. If you enjoy any of Mr. Abercrombie other books than this is a must. A+ Joe good Job.

The Skull Throne of Krasia stands empty. Built from the skulls of fallen generals and demon princes, it is a seat of honor and ancient, powerful magic, keeping the demon corelings at bay. From atop the throne, Ahmann Jardir was meant to conquer the known world, forging its isolated peoples into a unified army to rise up and end the demon war once and for all. But Arlen Bales, the Warded Man, stood against this course, challenging Jardir to a duel he could not in honor refuse.

I like the story and it is turning into a good series. The characters are unique and different and the authors take on " the Bad guy " is pretty cool. I am getting close to quitting the series. I can't stand the character of Cithrin. She seems to get everything without any loss on her part. It is frustrating. I fell like you know nothing permanently bad will ever happen, makes for a boring irritating character/story. Other than that the other characters keep me going.

I really enjoyed this book. I liked how he added 3 new points of view into the story. My only main complaint is how a certain characters all of sudden because way to powerful and awesome at fighting with Bow and Sword and is better at strategy than trained and experienced warriors. But all in all a good book.
