Wow. What can I say, I love this book and have for 30 years. That being said, I cannot stand how Bronson Pinchot narrates Flagg. I’m not sure I can even finish the book here and that’s a rarity. It bums be out because I was so excited to listen and introduce this book to someone special and he can’t stand the narration either.

Don’t get me wrong, Gigi Bermingham has a lovely voice, but she’s the wrong narrator. Marguerite Gavin should have narrated this, I would buy it again just for that. Listening to the voices she (Gigi) chose to use and the mispronounced words in every chapter made me want to plug my ears. I’ve had this book for years and years and only just finished it now because I could not stand the narration.

Great story. Narrator better suited to other works.

What a fantastic story with excellent narration, as usual. I’m re-listening to the series while I wait patiently for Peace Talks and I was once again transported to Chicago and a world where fairies, vampires and magic not only exist but are forces to be reckoned with. Fast paced and full of my favorite characters from the Dresdenverse. Loved it!
