Regan MacCarthy's ability to see ghosts is a gift inherited from her Irish ancestors, but it's one she'd dearly like to give back. In an attempt to return her powers to their source, she travels to Ireland to harness the ancient magic that still permeates the mystical site of Newgrange. Instead, something far more unexpected awaits her: a strapping, gorgeous stranger who insists he's a centuries-old Celtic warrior.

What made the experience of listening to Tangled in Time the most enjoyable?

I hope this narrator is used for more books. She did an excellent job on the accents and the voices. Probably my favorite narrator to date and I listen to over 200 books a year.

What does K.C. Sheridan bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Great accents and a pleasant voice.

When Lady Saren defies her father’s command to marry the vicious Lord Khasar, she is sealed in a tower with only her serving maid, Dashti, for company. In their cramped, dark space Dashti pours her thoughts into a daily journal while pitiless solitude engulfs them. At first the girl is optimistic: they have food aplenty, candles for light, and even a visit from Lady Saren’s true love, Khan Tegus - though he can only call to them from outside their walls. But their circumstances soon grow desperate.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

No singing by Narrator and faster pace.

Would you recommend Book of a Thousand Days to your friends? Why or why not?

No

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Book of a Thousand Days?

I would have read the words to the songs instead of having the narrator try to sing them

Any additional comments?

Slow paced book. A little too much time spent on rats.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Different voice for Sapphira. It was a gravely male eerie sounding voice.

What other book might you compare Eragon to and why?

It was obviously influenced by Lord of the Rings and other similar books. It is a great series.

How could the performance have been better?

THe voices for all the characters were great, except for Sapphira. I actually won;t be getting the rest of the series in audible form due to this.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The potential for a good plot was there for this book, but character development and storyline were so underdeveloped that it was just annoying.
