I haven't devoured a series this voraciously in a while. Each book just gets better and better and I can't wait to see what's next.

This book is AMAZING! It is witty, funny and utterly charming as is the author. I was alternately laughing and crying the whole time. Great read for geeks and those who want to understand them.

I love when a book pulls me through from beginning to end and leaves me wanting more.

The characters are great, I especially like the female lead who is strong while still being feminine and somewhat vulnerable. I love the fact that the main characters play off each other's strengths and weaknesses and that the main character Julius is a sweet and honest guy who doesn't need to prove his strength to save the day.

A lovely twining of fairytales and folklore. Adventure, hardships, love and magic woven together in a masterful tale. A pleasure to read.

This book was well written and informative about non pop culture Japan and the issues it's facing. It was a fairly objective view of history, crisis and current issues.

This book was fantastic, it was a wonderful blend of traditional Faerie elements (Oberon and Titania, Seelie and Unseelie Fae etc.) But also adds some suprisingly modern twists on the folklore. It has a wonderful romance and the characters are interesting and deep. I found it very easy to relate to the main character, a teen girl with typical teen troubles embarking on a fantastic quest and growing as a person. I can't wait for a sequel to come out because I could not stop listening to this one.

I really loved this book, it was wonderfully enchanting. This author is very descriptive and it isn't very difficult to picture exactly what she's describing. She also has very interesting and in depth characters without being to overwhelming. I also really liked the resolution at the end.

I picked this book up in high school and never finished it for some reason, but this time I couldn't stop listening. I really like how he made his super smart character feel so very relatable. Very interesting story.

I was really captivated by this book. I absolutely love the twist on Welsh mythology and giving mythological characters a new life. I also love how relatable every character is, they all have strengths as well as flaws. Although I did find it really obvious which characters he was going to kill off, it was always the ones you weren't very attached to. I also loved the crossover between Welsh and Native American with a time travel twist, really interesting.

I picked this book because I really like Simon Jones as a narrator but I really liked the book in it's own right. It had a really great historical feeling with just a slight bit of the mystical. Vantrease was really good at really fleshing out all of her characters, although there were a couple that I just wanted to smack sometimes. She also really captured the way classes and social status worked in the dark ages.
