I was shocked. It felt like it was another series. Where were my guys? Wtf was this story. Maybe that’s why the publisher changes. Not worth the credit. It was very forgettable.
Spoiler. Woman needed to help stupid brother by killing a man for his release from a thug. Her brother was a bad apple and should of been held captive Or in jail. Then she bargain for the money owed but not his release, so the thug tells her to do one more thing if she wants to see her brother alive. Then she is sent on a wild goose chase with a captive man as her weapon ( big Brutus) who was turned in by his rapist dad to the protagonist. The bad dad is a Cult leader. Once freed they meet with big Brutus ex a shadow girl and the women try’s to find a jewel from the cult leader. The plot was stupid. The sex was rushed and outdoors like two dogs in heat with Brutus wearing a shock collar. I don’t even know if I will buy the book that comes out in a couple of months. Sorry the narrator was hoarse. Sometimes you couldn’t tell he was playing the woman. Normally he sounds sexy but this time he didn’t care. Not worth the credit. Sorry but it wasn’t.

When one date got out of hand before it even began, Joel found himself displaced from a flooded apartment and on the doorstep of a handsome and older stranger more than willing to take Joel in for the night.

I read the book when it first came out and I thought it was just okay. Then when the audio version was released. I was hoping that there would be a growly alpha bear sounding voice and it wasn’t. Both voices were strange and high pitched. and it was odd narration. I didn’t ask for my credit back but I won’t be listening to it again. The plot was unique and the ending was happy. Something were left out I still don’t know what was in the envelope the uncle gave to his brother and wife. Or how did he know the ring was purchased. Smh.

But At least the scenes were quick. Way to go on a Great series.

I don’t know how I missed this one in print. I am happy I did. The narrator was amazing and the story was fast moving from beginning to end. The opening chapter is some what un relatable at first then when the twist and turns starts with the main characters the whole storyline, and the way the author leads you fall into place. This is a sneak attack love story with southern charm and a host of side characters. I was on pins and needles until the end. I hope their story will continue in another book because I really hated to see the end. Way to go Boudreaux for your Rhett Butler Charm.

This story was great for a follow up story. The narrator was awesome and I would of put it down if not for him. The reason why is the story dragged on and on. A couple were getting married and it was like Friday the 13th. Every obstacle that could happen before a wedding did. They spent hours trying to find a way to still have the nuptials without getting each other down. The only thing from the first book mentioned was the script never got off the ground and still being poor. I was hoping for me but maybe their

All of a sudden becomes dominant and a beast in the bedroom when he meets a man a lot younger than him. The narration was awesome and helped the story quite a bit. I give it two thumbs up!

If you could sum up The Hockey Player's Heart in three words, what would they be?

This is a great story, it starts off with a brush of lips in a goodbye between two young men in high school. One was a cute geeky math tutor and the other a hockey jock. They didn’t start seeing each other in high school, Much later the pair meets up and the jock wants a relationship and the geek questions everything. They work hard and get a happy ending

What about Finn Sterling’s performance did you like?

Narrator jock voice was great the geek needed some work.
