This is a very dense book full of goto exercises to find a heathly loving partner, while remaining safe.

Self narration by the author is witty, compassionate and at times riveting.

I'd recommend for anyone that longs for love, and happens to be a single, divorced or widowed parent.

In rural, impoverished Burgoyne County, New York, a pattern of strange deaths begins to emerge: Adolescent boys and girls are found murdered, their corpses left hanging in gruesome, ritualistic fashion. Senior law enforcement officials are quick to blame a serial killer, but their efforts to apprehend this criminal are peculiarly ineffective.

I won't be keeping this audio book. The narration was better than average but the story was god awful.

It seemed like an unformed, mis edited mess.

No where near as complex and nuanced as The Alienist.

This is a hard pass of me.

Don't. Just don't. Filled with every lone man, evil Islam, threat to the American way, cliche there is, this very poor peice of writing reads like a bad 1963 television show.

Not even RC Bray's narration could save this set.

It's not a good example of any of the genres it touches: not political thriller, action mystery or sci-fi.

I just couldn't take it anymore.

It's bad. Don't waste your credit.

They've created enough colonies so humanity shouldn't go extinct. But political squabbles have a bad habit of dying hard, and the Brazilian probes are still trying to take out the competition. And the Bobs have picked a fight with an older, more powerful species with a large appetite and a short temper.

I read this book in the '80s when it first came out and enjoyed it. Some 30 years later it rings even more strongly as a cautionary tale and a very human story.

The narration is superb. The addition of the "question and answer" session is brilliant.

I recommend.
