Too many concepts are so over described, that you could actually learn how to the do them & this the only bad part of the book, because it unnecessarily draws the real story out :} Be ready to fast forward or jump chapters :D
GOOD STUFF; magic system, some humor, fights, over all concept, mysteries left for later & performance.

Could of been a 5 star book, if the pace was quickened: though it is over all a good book :}

Beginning is slow. Everything is a bit unnecessarily over described & slows the whole story down. Real world story hooks you, as does his game life. All in all, a good book & performance.

Story: fast paced, simple, missing in depth MMORPG info / interesting fantasy descriptions, some humor & just enough action.
Could of been great, with simple additions: you can't read a beings level & apparently their is no identify skill. Simple things like this were missing.
Setting; LARP fantasy world with magic, melee, ect.

Darker Fantasy world with some magic, in a setting with power hungry self-centered politics: a warrior with a magic sword + some powers & his life is tragically redirected. It's just a bit too dark & depressing, to be truly good for me :{

Good dramatic story, no romance, some humor & interesting twists, with some fights & a little magic.
Performance is just good enough.

Just above BORING !!!

Performance is ok. Story is slow & full of nothing to interesting. Action is little. Character interplay is ok at best.
A fantasy RPG game group gets sent into their game & has to finish a quest: so they can either go home or stay in the game & serve a powerful wizard. Their was 1 interesting twist: the people some what loos them selves in their characters & start to become them.

worth a listen :}

BAD STUFF... #1 Story is fair & has no real humor or romance.
#2 Action, magic & world history: simplistic & barely hold your interest,
#3 The interesting twist on why Ed is in the magical world, just is not played on enough, to save the book.
#4 You never get invested in any aspect the book or really care what happens.

GOOD STUFF... #1 Pace is fairly constant & not to slow.

A man gets stuck in a magical world & learns how to survive. Performance is good enough. Nothing is particularly good & everything is fair.

BAD STUFF #1... Just by listening to the book i can now: cook, building a fire, making items, ect. Mundane things are so over described & actually taught to us.
#2... Someone 1st talks about something they are about to read or learn & then reads the actual description out loud. Like in a game, pop up windows describe stuff. The 1st description is unnecessary, just slows the story & makes the book boring, to much of the time.
#3... Mundane things people do are over described, not all the time, but too much of the time.

GOOD STUFF #1.. lots of small funny moments.
#2... Good character interplay & you actually come to care about what happens to them.
#3... Story is simple but interesting, when it is not over descriptive.
#4... Performance is good, with many different voices & inflections.

Armon dies, is taken to a magic world & now has to learn how to survive. The world has a game like style: pop up windows, every thing has a level or rating, ect.
