The decision to start a new life is never an easy one, but for Joe the transition was far from figurative. Becoming a permanent addition to a game world, it doesn't take long to learn that people with his abilities are actively hunted. In fact, if the wrong people gained knowledge of what he was capable of, assassins would appear in droves.

I'm a fan, I'm sometimes reluctant to listen to Amazon's suggestion until I check that against some FB pages I follow and some great reviews and discussions take place. This book was no different. I was happy to find out its as good as expected and I can't hardly wait for the next book.

I felt like this series was closed out very nicely. I like that Jamie and C.J Davis do a little interview with the narrator Roberto Scarlato, I haven't found any other books that do that and felt it was a great inclusion. The next trilogy started out pretty awesome. It follows his (the main character not the author) teenage daughter into Fantasma.

Threadbare has not had a very good time of it recently. His little girl has been taken from him, and he must travel the kingdom, finding allies old and new, living and dead, to help him rescue Celia. Fortunately, he's got a voice now and access to all those fun skills he couldn't before use. He may only be a very small teddy bear, but he's got the persistence to plow through dungeons of rascally raccoon monsters, the wiles to turn a town full of undead on its ear, and the sanity to survive an encounter with a mediocre old one.
