A relevant story for our time. Nora never fails to develop strong and edgy characters, that you imagine would be dearest friends.

Oh, the strength and beauty of the Lilac Girls. This journey provided by the author introduced me to such beautiful women damaged the the events of history who scrapped and fought to regain much of what was taken from them. I will now do much more research on the angel Carolyn.
Even if you are not a WWII buff I encourage you to get to know the sad story of the rabbits and the joyous story of the survivors!

The characters were delightful! The civility of an age gone by made these long suffering characters so endearing to me. I felt I knew these characters and very much liked most of them. I am going to recommend this book to all of my friends!

I was so saddened at the death of Michael Palmer. Daniel certainly took up where his father left off. Michael Palmer has always been one of my most favorite authors. I believe now I will become a dedicated fan of Daniels. the story held the same twists and turns and what appears to be medical accuracy so that I could stay on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book.

I like the reading except for the pronunciation change of President McPherson's name. all other narratives have had a different pronunciation. Very anxious to finish the last book in the series
