College. A time of transition from youth to young adulthood. New lessons, new responsibilities, new distractions. A period of life treasured by most. Unless you happen to attend an institute of higher learning where the bullies are werewolves, the teachers are sadists, and the pretty girls are all deadly. A school like that demands a special kind of student, someone with the skills and power to survive. Someone like Declan O'Carroll.

Loved every minute of this book and I didn’t think I’d like the new secondary characters but Conroe really cultivated them so well that I love them as much as the main motley crew. James Patrick Cronin is such a talented narrator, he makes all the books in the series come to life in a way that is never boring but amazingly, you don’t even realize it’s a narration like you do with some others, but rather a performance. It’s just like watching a great movie by an actor that encompasses the role so well that for the time your beliefs suspend and you lose yourself in the story.

I'm just floored by what Leah and other Scientologists have been through. I find it interesting (almost like a car wreck that you just can't look away from, Scientology not Leah of course) and my heart goes out to the people who have had their family ripped apart. This is a great listen and Leah does a wonderful job with it. It's almost as if she's telling you her story not narrating. 5 Stars!
