The author does a good job with character creation, but there are multiple instances of scenes where they seem to forget what they had written previously in the story. For example, there is a part where Vader and Palpatine have just finished using their lightsabers in a battle, and the author writes, "They both deactivate their lightsabers." Just a few sentences later, the author writes, "Vader deactivates his lightsaber." If he had already deactivated it, how did he deactivate it again. There are several times these types of inconsistencies take place, and it brings down the quality of the writing.
