A short interlude in Bobbie Draper’s life after Caliban’s War when she returned hone to Mars and was trying to figure out what to do next. Story focuses on her high school age nephew, David Draper, who is flirting with getting involved in drugs. Overall, pretty depressing.

Enjoyable and engaging story describing man’s earlier efforts to move into space. Contains both political intrigue and much action. Again, Bova creates characters the reader cares about.

The reader’s characterization of the different characters was well done, but the dynamic range of his reading was so great that his lower volume segments were difficult to understand.

In classic CS Lewis style, we learn how the magical wardrobe from “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” and Narnia itself came to be. A wonderful and enchanting story well read. A true delight for children and adults alike. A great story to share with your kids or grandkids.

My wife and I have loved listening to the Grand Tour series by Ben Bova! In this novel, he presents a believable and scientifically respectable story of the far side of the moon. His characters are multidimensional, and he makes you care about them. The personal interactions and motivations of his characters are often explained by including their unexpressed thoughts. This novel sets the scene for a new sub-series called the Star Quest Trilogy or the New Earth Series (based on the name of the next book.

The reading by Stefan Rudniki is easy to listen to and carries just the right amount and kind of passion for each character. He does a great job here, as he has done in all the other stories that I gave heard him read!

Entertaining and enjoyable. Looking forward to listening to the next in the series: New Earth.

Follows the movie fairly closely until the end. Provides more scientific detail and additional events throughout. Like both the movie ending and the book ending. Too many F-bombs and other cursing which is unnecessary to the story and adds nothing but distraction. However, this is a great story well read. I will look for more books by this reader!

Sullivan has written an extremely enjoyable fantasy and filled it with elves, dwarves, goblins, sorcerers, and humans. He provides the reader with characters that you care about, surprising twists, evil, honor, and self-sacrifice. He then tops it off with a marvelous ending. Highly recommended! But, be warned: once you start it, it is very difficult to put down!

I so appreciated and benefited from the excellent reading of Watchman Nee’s Sit, Walk, Stand. It clearly encapsulates the essential truths of the Book of Ephesians and would be a great adjunct to any study of that book. It also is a profitable listen by itself. The accompanying study guide would be especially beneficial if you have it in print to follow along, and it also includes many helpful insights on the main book itself. Highly recommend!
Steve Vause reads the book with clarity and provides a listening experience that is a real joy.

Great story! Interesting and entertaining writing. Will look for more books by John Scalzi! I just wish he had not felt the need to include so much gratuitous bad language. Too many F-words for me. Will Wheaton did a fantastic job writing!

Ties together many sources and evaluates them from a biblical perspective. Makes one rethink what they have always assumed about death and Heaven! Highly recommend!
