When a homemade, heart-shaped valentine with no signature shows up in Rose Larrabee's mailbox, she is surprised to say the least - as a widow and mother of two young children, she has little time for romance. It becomes clear that each valentine is not the gift of a secret admirer but a warning from the madman who is getting all too close to the very heart of her deepest, darkest fears...

Would you try another book from Wendy Corsi Staub and/or Allyson Ryan?

Yes I have enjoyed the other books I've listened to although I find she often leaves a couple of things unfinished at the end of the book.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Stolen by Daniel Palmer. I'm half way through it and its very interesting.

What character would you cut from She Loves Me Not?

All of them. The main character is whiny and extremely dense. Its really hard to care what happens to her and most of the other characters.

Twenty-six years ago, just before a series of brutal murders rocked the idyllic town of Bowers Inlet, Cassie Burke lost her family and nearly her own life to a transient befriended by her father. Back then, Cassie was a scared kid; now, she's a homicide cop. Back then, the suspect was caught and convicted; he died in prison. But now the killing has started again. And all signs indicate that the Bayside Strangler has come back for more.

Good story, bad narration

This is one of those books that is ruined by the narrator. I enjoyed the story line but the narrators attempt at male voices was distracting and unsuccessful. I will probably not purchase another book that has her as the narrator.
