I read the book, but really wanted to check out the audio...so well worth it! I love River Savage's books.

I really enjoyed the narration. Male narrator better than female narrator. I've read ths book before and really wanted to hear the narration and intonation.

I struggled. This means voice seemed monotone. Zero emotion. I couldn't get through the first chapter. I'm going to buy the book.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

The narrators had horrible accents. It annoyed me listening to it. The story was ok. I think for the first in the series it sets a good tone.

What was most disappointing about Jen McLaughlin’s story?

She had Lucas talk to much...that's unrealistic.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Guy Locke and Monique Makena ?

People that were actually from Boston. I also wouldn't have Monique try to speak for Lucas.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment

I love Jaci Burton's books. They are easy to read and safe story lines. Much like Sawyer Bennett, this author needs to dig deeper into real life struggles. This book was safe and comfortable. I read it quickly but it was very easy to put down and pick up when I had a few minutes. I didn't have any of those, "I can't put it down, it's so good" moments.

The narration was horrible. The voice of Cheyann was whiny. It was like chalk on a chalk board! The story was written in choppy sentences. Save your time and money!

I love the narration.

I loved the story but, between kids and life, if I didn't fully listen I was lost between the present and past. I still really enjoyed this book.

The narrator was very entertaining. Book entertaining. It was well worth the money I spent to listen to it. I will definitely be buying more Grisham audiobooks.

What would have made Lose Weight Fast better?

A better narrator! The narrator's voice is completely annoying that I was only able to listen to 15 minutes of this audio. She sounds like she is trying to seduce me, rather than hypnotize me.

What didn’t you like about Elizabeth Green’s performance?

She talked in a slow seductive voice. It was annoying.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Annoyance

Any additional comments?

Using a voice modulator would have probably been a better choice.
