A wonderfully quirky, heartbreaking, heart-warming, and thought-provoking story of a woman's dog who not only talks to her, he talks to God. Recently widowed Mary Fassler has no choice except to believe Rufus, the miniature schnauzer, who claims to speak to the Divine. The question is: Will Mary follow the dog's advice and leave everything she knows and loves? Is this at the urging of God? Or is it something else? Will Mary risk it all or ignore the urgings of her own heart?

I don’t have the words to describe how much I loved this book. The dog taking and how and when he did made this book hard to stop listening too. Made me laugh and think. The end made me cry in a happy way. You will understand when you get to that point. If the dog and the woman’s relationship touches you as much as it did me, you will shed a tear too. No he doesn’t die!! 😊

Love has never been a priority for garden designer Frankie Cole. After witnessing the fallout of her parents' divorce, she's seen the devastation an overload of emotion can cause. The only man she feels comfortable with is her friend Matt - but that's strictly platonic. If only she found it easier to ignore the way he makes her heart race.

I loved book 1 and 4. Book 2 I didn’t make it past the first chapter. The voices of the two main characters were horrible. I am so disappointed. I gave 5 stars to the story even though I didn’t listen to it, because all the books have been good so far. I am sorry, I just couldn’t take the voice of the two lady’s in chapter one.

Stella's mama never should've put Stella on the church prayer list. With Stella's 27th birthday coming up fast, Nancy desperately wants to see her daughter married and giving her grandbabies. Petitioning heaven seems like a surefire way to get it done. But in Cadillac, Texas, where the gossip's hotter than the city's famous jalapeño peppers, it isn't long before all hell breaks loose.

I was surprised how much cussing was in this book. I usually play my books while driving in the car or cleaning the house. I was certainly glad I started it over the weekend while my grandchildren weren't here. If you have children and you listen to this book on speaker, I suggest not with children in ear length

Trudy has a daughter in the middle of a major rebellion; a two-timing husband who has been cheating for their entire married life; and a mother with Alzheimer's residing in the local nursing home.

For 60 years, the wedding chapel has stood silent and empty. Retired football hall-of-famer Jimmy "Coach" Westbrook built the chapel by hand, stone by stone, for his beautiful and beloved Collette Greer, whom he lost so many years ago. The chapel is a sanctuary for his memories, a monument to true love, and a testament to his survival of the deepest pain and loss. Photographer Taylor Branson left her hometown of Heart's Bend, Tennessee, to make a new life for herself in New York.

Charlotte owns a Birmingham bridal boutique. But with her own wedding day approaching, why can’t she find the perfect dress - or feel certain she should marry Tim? Then Charlotte purchases a vintage dress in a battered trunk at an estate sale. It looks brand-new, shimmering with pearls and satin, hand stitched and timeless in its design. But where did it come from? Who wore it? Charlotte’s search for the gown’s history begins as a distraction from her sputtering love life. But it takes on a life of its own as she comes to know the women who have worn the dress.

This book keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. I honestly could not stop listening to it I had to know what happened next. I really hope she writes a book that continues off of this one, I would love to know what happens in Emily's life with Daniel, and if Phil ended up marrying the girl he was seeing, and how Charlotte and Tim's life grew!!
