Henley and Jeff are awesome characters! Fun, solid and caring as individuals yet as a couple they’re even stronger. Their love and devotion to each other is phenomenal.

This story is full of funny antics! The scary thing is, I can easily imagine them happening in real life as well LOL! That’s the other thing that makes this book so amazing…it has a realistic feel to it. It's more like a real relationship between two real people who have fun together. It’s not full of fluff, embellished sex scenes and lovey-dovey stuff yet it still gives you ALLLL the feels! This author’s writing is spot on, as it has been in all of her other books as well. What's even better is that the narrators managed to capture their personalities and feelings amazingly well, not something easy to do in an audiobook.

This isn't what has become the “typical” romance, it's better! We get to see how Jeff & Henley meet but we also get to experience their dating lives. It shows them as a couple instead of some guy/girl doing the chasing thing or a reunion that leads to a second chance. Nothing wrong with those but they’ve become very common so the fact that this one is "different", well, it's refreshing to me. Something else that I loved about this is that it's a very engaging read. There is a lot of interaction between the characters and very little inner monologue. I absolutely love this because so many times, all the inner monologue just bores me to tears. Definitely NOT an issue with this book. I definitely recommend this book to anyone that needs a laugh or even just a smile. If you've never listened to an audiobook, this is a great one to start with and if you listen often, then you'll definitely love it.

" Even if it’s not some perfectly scripted traditional fairy tale, it’s still yours. It was a strange, unconventional path that led us here. But really, it wasn't strange at all"

The average song is three and a half minutes long; those three and a half minutes could lead to a slow blink, a glimpse of the past, or catapult the soul into heart-shattering nostalgia. At the height of my career, I had the life I wanted, the life I'd always envisioned. I'd found my tempo, my rhythm. Then I received a phone call that left me off key.

WOW! That was intense! I'll start off by saying that I don't really like books that involve a love triangle so I was a little leery about this one at first. BUT, it's Kate Stewart book so it's a given that I was going to read it so, I charged in and was pleasantly surprised.

This book was absolutely perfect ! The story was engaging, the writing makes you feel as though you were part of the story instead of just reading it. It had all the feels and just the right amount of angst for me . I loved all of the characters... basically, I love everything about this book!

To take it one step further, I listened to this as an audiobook instead of just reading it. That's always a gamble because if the narrator isn't all that great, or you just don't care for that narrator , it can really ruin a story. Ava Erickson nailed it with Drive! It's sometimes difficult to get all the feels out of an audiobook but there was no problem at all with this one. She did an amazing of job portraying these characters and telling their story.

I met my true love when I was 27. He was handsome, charming, witty, and irresistible. Jayden Monroe came along when I was struggling with indecision and made things simple, turned monochrome into vivid color, and forever altered my perspective on life.

This is a fantastic read! This author has a talent that just pulls me into her stories with little to no effort. Her writing style is amazing! This story is also amazing!! The plot is more unique than what I’m seeing so often and that’s refreshing. Two people that aren’t afraid of some rough patches and do what it takes to make it work. Life isn’t always rainbows and unicorns and to read a story that is this realistic is awesome! I listened to this one on audio and the narrator did such a great job! I definitely recommend this!!

The only thing inevitable in love is despair. I knew from the start that he would wreck me. Nothing could have prepared me for the day he walked into my life. Or the day he walked out of it. I self-destructed. All that remained was a shell of the girl I once was. Shattered. And I don't know if I'll ever recover.

Any additional comments?

This is one of those books that runs you through every emotion known to man. That’s also why I feel this is an amazing book! It’s very emotional; A touching, down to earth, real relationship between 2 people that have struggled through life, but make each others lives better just by being in them. There were some times I got angry with their decisions but for the most part, I really loved them for who they are and how they are together. The author does a great job of pulling you into the story and making you experience it first-hand.

I read this book last year and fell in love with BL Berry’s writing style. I recently listened to it on audio as well and Andrea Emmes did a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life in the audiobook! She’s clear and concise and made their experiences even more real, almost like you’re part of the story.

This definitely a story worth experiencing!

A life she believes she is destined to always lead, until a horrific event sets her free. Fleeing the absolute safety of all she has ever known, Salome is thrust into the world outside, a frightening world full of uncertainty and sin; into the protective arms of a person she believed she would never see again.

Wow! I'll admit I wasn't sure what to expect going into this one, I was a little hesitant. I freaking loved this book!! The story was solid and well planned, the characters were awesome and I loved both Styx and Mae. HOT, HOT, HOT!

I actually listened to this on audio and the narrators were amazing. The voices suited the characters and spoke just as I would've imagined them to...right down to Styx's speech issues.
