Ben Badwin likes his women sexy, wild, and as uninhibited as his desires. Nothing like the brash, dirt-covered, wholesomely cute woman who just strutted into his diner. But something about Sierra Murphy's independent attitude makes Ben's fantasies run wild....

Another winner. Good follow up to Too Much Temptation (Noah & Molly's story)

This story can stand on its own, however is greatly more appreciated when reading after Too Much Temptation.

A favorite story I find myself reading over and over again. The relationships of the characters is captivating and the character of Grace endearing. I just can't say enough positives about this story, except maybe I would have liked it to go on more. I didn't want it to end.

Okay, I admit, this is an excellent serial. I hate serials! Saying that I can see why this particular story is best told that way. I have found authors do mostly complaining that if they didn't, the story would be too long. J K Rowling proved a long story can do just fine with each of her best selling Harry Potter books. In 'Web of Lies', the switch in focus, from each of the women, makes a difference. Kudos Kathleen Brooks.

Therese Plummer is a perfect choice as narrator. She was consistent through all the stories in portraying each character as well as narrating the action.

I really wish there was more, after all I'm certain this group isn't the only threat.

This is a slight step away from the rest of Kathleen Brooks' usual fare. First of all it is a serial and all three books need to be read to complete the story. Second is that the romantic side is secondary to the suspense and also has no definitive conclusion.

I enjoy series and even don't mind s overlapping story from book to book. I don't appreciate serials. Thankfully I waited to read/listen to this one until it was all released.

That saying, this story is interesting and has some definite points to think about. I'm sure some of what is played out here happens in real life, or at least in some capacity. This takes it to the next step of wondering what could be.

I am looking forward to see how this plays out. Onto the next book.

Therese Plummer is doing an excellent job narrating and portraying all the characters. I like her voice for both Male and female characters.

I have had this story for what seems like ever. Having finally read (listened) to it. I am now wondering why I waited so long.

This is an excellent story. The characterization is terrific. I loved Mac and Maddie. Their diffrent life experiences are stark but Mac's openness to understanding Maddie and 'fixing' her circumstances is endearing.

Holly Fielding did a good job narrating.

My favorite of the 'Brothers In Blue' series. Note: stories standalone with recurring characters.

The characters were likable and well characterized. The setting realistic. A bit over done on how much is going on in Jana's life but it does feel like that at times.

I wish this series was the Baker Family Series, would like to know the sisters stories.

Lissa Blackwell did an admirable job narrating and portraying the characters.

An entertaining story with some suspense. Having listened to the story vs reading it; I find myself wondering if it would have been more suspenseful if I had read it. This story is a good example of how a narrator can effect the story. While Lissa Blackwell has a pleasant voice, it is consistently calm. Yes, her rate of speech increased at appropriate times but the edge was minimal. At least to my ear. Either that or the writing didn't lend itself to it.

Over all a good story. I did get a little frustrated with Darcy's negative self talk at times.
