I have read other books from this author and liked them. However, this book is bad. It is boring, it goes all over the place, the heroine is supposed to graduate from law school and be super smart. The police stops her and she does not state her rights at all, incriminates the hero and a bunch of other stuff that an attorney or a well informed citizen would never do so stupid. After that, I could not read anymore. the narrator was good and had good voices.

It all started with a mysterious blue note sewn into a wedding dress. Something blue. I’d gone to sell my own unworn bridal gown at a vintage clothing store. That’s when I found another bride’s “something old.” Stitched into the lining of a fabulously feathered design was the loveliest message I’d ever read: Thank you for making all of my dreams come true. The name embossed on the blue stationery: Reed Eastwood, obviously the most romantic man who ever lived. I also discovered he’s the most gorgeous. If only my true-love fantasies had stopped there.

I absolutely loved this story. The heroine was a bit on the too cheerful side but I loved it nonetheless. She looked always for the positive which balanced the hero's perspective a lot as he was more cynical. Beautiful love story and Iris was the best!

The audio was good, Sebastian was great as always, Lynn was ok, I just miss Andi Arndt becuase Lynn's male voices were not as good as Andi's.

Picture this - I’m ready to win back the love of my life, and I’m going big this time. We’re talking boom box, sing her name in the rain, let the whole damn neighborhood know I'm good and ready this time around. After all, if you're going to grand gesture the ever-loving hell out of a second chance, you need to pull out all the stops. There’s only one little problem. My college girlfriend isn't the one who shows up when I play my "I'll do anything to win you back" tune. The woman who flings open the second-floor window tells me my ex doesn’t live here anymore.

Enjoyed the sweet and low angst story, the steamy scenes were plentiful. Ther was not a lot going on besides the beginning of a relationship and how they got to know each other, her photography was a nice touch as it was something more than boudoir, very sexy and Luke took it in stride.

I think in triangles. You think in straight lines. I show you a table and make you believe it's a chair. Smoke and mirrors, sleight of hand, misdirection. I trick and deceive. But most of all, I put on a good show. The world thinks I killed a man, but I didn't. Bear with me. It's all a part of the plan. Revenge is what I want. I want it for me, and I want it for her. I want it for all six of us.

This story was superb. I think I have a thing for Illusionists now! Jay was absolutely amazing, and Matilda was so sweet. This book had me with a huge smile half the time. The humor and banter was great! Jessie and Michele were great secondary characters. It was a bit predictable so if you prefer it not to be as predictable, start at chapter one rather than prologue. At the beginning, I was not sure about the Irish accent for the Audible but after a few chapters, I actually enjoyed it!

This book just sucked me in from the first few chapters. Casey and Jake are a great couple. This is not the typical rock star story. I absolutely love Casey's sense of humor and how she showed her true self and did not apologized for it. I loved that Jake got her sense of humor and how well they complemented each other. This is the first book I read from this author and can't wait to read more, I love witty and funny dialogue.
I loved Andi Arndt as a female narrator.

It was immediate for Roman. In 3,000 years, he'd never lost control of his emotions, or his heart. But the moment he laid eyes on Evelynne Farrow, he knew she was the woman who haunted his dreams. And everything changed. Everything. Evie Farrow has always loved a good vampire romance. In fact, she makes a living writing them. While sitting in a coffee shop and working on her next mega-hot book, Evie is approached by a tall, dark, and handsome man who could have been pulled directly from one of her novels.
