Children of time was not what I was expecting. It is a real twist on who the invaders are on another planet for once.... Human kind. And the locals don't take too kindly to what this means for them. Obviously war is imminent however, its not exactly what you expect. Then again, neither are the locals, who aren't indigenous to this new planet the humans are seeking to colonise. There lies the clever twist to the story. I enjoyed it... In a creeped out sort of way. Once you start reading, you'll understand why, if you're not a fan of creepy crawlies. Enjoy.

I really loved Artimis. Weir has delivered a very believable futuristic adventure once again. As he did in the Martian, he's given a possible glimpse into our future plans, of what challenges we can face, living on other orbs in space. Especially what it can be like with corporations being the driving force in our struggle to find other ways to get resources & places for humans to inhabit in our galaxy. Nice adventure.

Loved the narration. It flowed well & Rosario made the story really come to life in my mind. Great choice.

Matthew Reilly has done it again. This eas the first book I got in audio version for a change and all I can say is WOW! I though this series was amazingly intense when I read them. But the audio book version gives an added excitement & depth I was not expecting.

You killed Scarecrow & Mother, my two favourite characters & I welled up like a baby.... could hardly breathe. Then within minutes a huge sigh of relief & happines, quickly followed by a "OMG.... here we go again" rollercoaster of emotions. I don't know how he does it but Reilly gets me every time, with his back to back, insanely intense twists.

I'm exhausted after listening to this story once again. Congratulations and a big, big thank you for another amazing thrill ride with Scarecrow.
