I loved the story, the world buildup is great, and it is not the way I thought it would be going. Talk about twists but all is good, they kept me on my toes. It has the humans resilient and fighting back especially the heroine who despite all the hurdles and hair raising experiences, she still fights for what she believes in. Dex is great, but it is his brother, Amrok that surprised me the most and is my fave of the series along with the rightful heir to the throne, Kal. (not sure I spelled their names right).
I will be checking Ms. Delport's other stories for sure. I love the covers, the designer had captured the stories well.
As for the narration, Ms. Sponburgh has a really good voice, but the application of it is not quite there. I think it needs more animation, more variety and most of all emotion. It could have been so much more.

What I really loved about this book is that even though it deals with many issues faced by veterans, it doesn't focus on them but more on the journey and recovery, making it a positive book, that there is hope. I love Michel, his good heart, his character and my heart was breaking reading about his life and his struggles, but he made it, he turned his life around with the help from his uncle who was there for him even after his death. Meeting Annabelle furthered his resolve and at the same time helped heal her heart too. She is perfect for him. This book left me smiling, especially the end, a little teary too.
Being told by one of my 'eargasm' voices really enhanced the experience. I love Mr. Cole's voice and his ability to make it fit the character, the passion for his craft really shows in the performance.

A sexy quickie to wet your appetite when you don't have time for more. Forbidden romance that turns sexy with their 2nd chance given to them. I liked Owen, not sure about Addy though, but they make it work and it ends in HEA.
The dual POV would have called for dual narration, but Mr. Johnson' performance was really good, love his sexy alpha rasp, and the voice he gave the heroine was credible as the ones he gave the other female characters.

Fairy tale with a twist... or two :D Love the premise with all its intertwined worlds, there are humans, witches and warlocks, goblins and trolls, mischievous fairies in a story like you've never heard before. Highly entertaining, humour, suspense, drama, mystery is mixed adding a bit of romance and a smidge of steamy. Lilou cracked me up again and again, she is my fave character joined by Arlo who is not quite what he shows to the world. Love their interactions and enjoyed following them on their journey listening how Lilou won over many who didn't believe she can do the quest assigned to her. The secondary characters nicely woven in adding to the richness of the story. The too much detailing of some scenes were a bit overwhelming for me and found myself drifting off, then had to go back and listen again, luckily there were not many.
The narrators did a great job in giving each character their own voices, a few even had accents. Their personality were clearly heard and I enjoyed listening to the dual narration. I hope they are the ones doing the next book too. Looking forward to the next book.

My first from the author. A good start to the series, and yes there are lots of steamy scenes, especially at the beginning, but I am good with that, there is a reason for it. When it is revealed, the listener will clue in too. It has an interesting spin on mating and social structure that I have not come across yet. Hannah's intro to the Quasar society and the challenge to prove the mating bond is pretty intense and I found myself cheering them on. They win but ruffle some feathers in the process. Hannah and Bren get the HFN ending and now off to help find other potential mates. I hope Matthias will find his in time.
I picked the book because of the voices telling it, a great duet pairing that makes the story so much more. They both handle switching between characters so smoothly, giving each their own voices and it is hard to believe there are only two performing them. I would listen to anything they narrated, putting them on my 'eargasm' list.

My first from both the author and the narrator. Love the cover.
The story is captivating, tagging along Anastasia on her journey was exciting She becomes the strong woman it was predicted. The friendship between her and her best friend Dakota saved her many times and it starts to develop into something more but the evil forces intervene in her life yet again. Quite a revelation when she learns who and what she is. My heart was breaking for her. From this point the story picks up speed and I could not stop listening, it has a HFN ending, and I am looking forward to continue the story.
I hope Ms. Navarro will narrate the next one too. Her voice is a delight to listen to. The characters got their own voices, I could hear all the nuances of the emotions displayed by them and their own temperaments were captivated with precision. I will check out her other works for sure. She will go on my 'eargasm' list.

My first book from the author, I enjoyed the short story, it has a unique spin which had me listening on. Sweet romance, a few hawt scenes, a bit of drama, some suspense and action. I wanted to hurry them along a bit for not seeing the obvious, especially Zorban, because at least he knew about his people and what happened all those years ago, Leah didn't. It all ends well and they get their HEA, a very happy ending.
A new voice to me, Mr. Johnson did a great job telling the story, I loved his various voices and the sexy rasp at times. He made the listening very enjoyable, I will check out other books too.

A great romcom story that we come to expect from Ms. Blakely, friends to lovers with chemistry thru the roof, with some comic relief from friends and family, comeback lines, and very little angst and no drama, which I love. The singing, the banter between friends, the heat between the couples, the energy between partners and love of family is all felt throughout the book. Jason and Truly get their HEA and judging by the few epilogues we can expect other couples will too in future books. YAY

I had a few eargasms from the intro alone. The voices are incredible, some are my faves I listened to before and some new ones too that I will be sure to check out more of. The story is alive, it was like listening to a theatre show on the radio, they made it so easy to listen to, I could not stop. It is an experience not to be missed. I know I will be listening to this one again.

Oh it's been decades since I read this book and I forgot a lot of it. It remains a classic that should be read/listened to by all. What a journey alongside White Fang from his birth to his finally happy life. My heart broke for him when he was treated cruelly, or the perils he endured to survive; and I cheered him on when he fought back and happy when he had a happy ending. White Fang had to adjust to life with various masters and learn how to survive in different circumstances, the story paints a pretty realistic picture of the cruelty of some men and the goodness in others, showing that with love and compassion situations can be turned around. Weeden Scott reminds me of my Father, he was great with animals.
John Lee is one of my fave voices to listen to, I find his voice hypnotic, and soothing at the same time, with just enough deep tones. I would listen to him narrate anything.

My first book from Mr. Gleason. I went it not knowing what to expect. It is good but needed time to let the story grow on me. The writing is excellent, love the author's style but it is the type of story I usually avoid, my imagination is too vivid. If you can get past the gory parts described in detail, the story is pretty good and the more I listened, the more it grew on me.
Sheppard's intro to Purgatory and subsequent interactions with the inhabitants are at times violent and gory but eased by hilarious parts, a rollercoaster ride for sure. Quite a revelation at the end about Matthew. I am invested in this series now, I want to know more.
My first audio from Mr. Pugh and I think his voice was part of why I stuck with the story, I am glad I did in the end. Love his animated voice, the tones and the emotions I hear listening to him telling the story. I really hope he is working on the rest of the series.
