Mr. Hayes wraps up this engaging series expertly and very satisfyingly while leaving room for his universe to breath and grow in the future. As to Mr. McCarley's narration... artistic and inspired as always.

I truly enjoyed this series in Kindle format and when I saw it in audible I almost passed as I've recently read it and each of the books are, while a fun read, short.... too short for a full credit. But WAIT! What is this? The first two books in one? Could it be? An author who understands?
Hey guys, this series is very fun and has a lot going for it.
Urban Fantasy? CHECK
Protagonist in over his head from the start? CHECK
Bad ass babes willing to back him no matter the odds? CHECK
Sexy fun times? Double check... and that is just the first book. (Spoilers)

Anyway, love the books, can't wait for 3&4 (keep it combo Stryvant) in audible and 7-12 in Kindle.

With Declan O'Carroll on Fairie and Chris Gordon on Earth, what could go wrong? Try everything. Scheming elves, deadly zombies, killer goblins, flaming dragons, and dirty diapers. With a growing, insidious threat to Earth, Chris and Tanya race to save lives while Declan, Stacia, and friends work just as hard to save their own lives on an alien world, far removed from the comforts and safety of home. Only together will they overcome the odds. But, come on, with this team, maybe the odds should look out.

Love this series, worth the time investment but have come to enjoy Declan's POV more than Chris's and then adding in Mac's.... like the character but him carrying half a book is a bit much.

The Warlord of Mars, by Edgar Rice Burroughs, is the third book in his famous Barsoom series. This novel continues where The Gods of Mars abruptly ended. John Carter's wife, the princess Dejah Thoris, is imprisoned in the Temple of the Sun by the vile pretender goddess Issus. It is said one has to wait an entire Barsoomian year before the room the prisoner is in revolves back to the entrance.

The narrator that can only speak in CAPITALS.

Spend the extra money and get this book narrated by ANYONE ELSE. The book is a five star. The narrator brings that down at least three stars. It's almost like he is trying to do a bad John Wayne impersonation. Very nearly un-listenable.
