I listen to several audiobooks a week. Being the consummate romantic I am I lean towards romance stories! I can’t praise Penelope Ward’s writing enough. Her words and how she presents her characters hearts go in and grab your heart and squeeze. Every book of hers that I have listened to has made me cry at some point in the story. She has a tender, endearing, loving heart. I believe That the path an author has taken in their life is reflected in their writing. Every story has some drama, some comedy and lots of romance… Right up my alley. I look forward to the next journey, Penelope! Thank you for showing us your heart!

Penelope really knows how to tell a story and only Andi and Sebastian can make the words come alive ! I read a lot of books and Penelope Wards works always spark strong emotions in me! She must know the true emotion of love personally because she sure knows how to put the emotion on paper beautifully! Highly recommend her works!

Sniff sniff... I just finished reading "Beautiful mistake". What a beautiful story -- I'm still crying. So many of us go through traumas as young children and there is always someone that touches your heart for some reason or another. If we're Lucky when we grow up we get to reconnect with that person. That's what this story is about. The story is beautifully written and I highly recommend reading it! Thank you Miss Keeland, this one really touched me!!

Cocky ass arrogant country boy meets cocky ass, take no BS, you don't impress me, bar owner! The relationship starts as kindling, smolders and then explodes .... book one sets us up to see the potential between these two .... I'm thinking book two is gonna walk us through a mine field only to join these two together a little scarred but finally knowing what they mean to each other! Waiting patiently ...

The personalities of Max and Harper are so real that I found myself thinking how much I would behave the same way as Harper and Max, at times, as well! I really enjoyed this story! It was raw, pure, touching, maddening and sexy as hell! It'll give it a second and third listen! Andi and Sebastian are great story tellers! I thoroughly enjoy their dynamics!

I loved this story for its twists and turns and for its ability to raise hope in the darkest of hearts! I was thrilled to witness the blossoming of Bridgers heart and the destruction of his past! It pains me to know that there are people in this world with such darkness within them! This story should be an inspiration for those troubled souls!! I will partake of Bridgers journey again!

I am very excited about the continuation of the Boudreaux family in Nola. Before I purchase an audible book I read the reviews and a lot of people complained about the lack of the British accent of the main male character in this book. That really didn't bother me because the reviews on the storyline were very good and I have loved all of the Boudreaux series so far. I just came back from a trip to New Orleans and saw a lot of the things that were mentioned in the book and had a feel for that part of the country and it really help me to appreciate the storyline a lot more. As far as the British accent being a problem with main character ... in my estimation Sebastian York could make the phonebook sound sexy so knowing full well that he was the male narrator in the story compelled me to buy it! He and Rachel are a great team and I hope the writer keeps them on for the next two books! I'm very anxious to read about Bo and Mallory and hopefully Savannah and Ben!!

Some love stories, when you read them, are generally predictable! Finally someone has written a romantic comedy where the characters have brains in their heads! I am grateful my heart was not ranked over hot coals! The characters made decisions guided by their hearts and minds! Very refreshing!

What made the experience of listening to Dirty Pleasures the most enjoyable?

I was anxious to see how the writer evolved their relationship. I thought that Cray would remain the hard ass and she would stay submissive to him... But... reading on.... their personalities evolve....

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the reality of their relationship. Like any relationship in real life, theirs went through the ups and downs but each of them changed... in ways you wouldn't think.

What does Elena Wolfe and Sebastian York bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Sebastian York is my favorite narrator, without a doubt. Elena is actually quite a great partner with him in this. They compliment each other and deepen their character's personalities with their heartfelt narration.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes
