The people who made this book did a great job of re-packaging the ramblings of someone I suspect will be determined to mentally incompetent and not liable for anything he says or does soon.

I liked the idea of a murder mystery in space. The story was pretty quick and had some interesting twists.

What did you like best about this story?

It was a setting I have rarely seen. This allowed a cop story to grow in a unique new way.

What about Mirron Willis’s performance did you like?

Great voice, but may need to work on pronunciation or maybe I have been wrong on many more words than I think I am.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

This was a book I made excuses to listen to taking longer walks and postponing other work.

Yahtzee has done a few books and I have liked his previous work. I felt no fear in burning a credit to get this latest work.

There are many tropes and plot device ruts along the roads of sci-fi and fantasy. Yahtzee has blown the shocks out of the listeners ride but you learn to enjoy the spine compressions and bitten tongues as you jounce and shudder along the narrative.

I sense the author/narrator does not consider this a serious genre defining book allowing him to reveal how others in the field may take themselves too seriously.

I will continue to keep my eyes open for Yahtzee to pull up alongside me on a narrative backroad promising a wild ride sure to require a seatbelt and I will definitely ride shotgun again.

Real world examples broken down and explained in ways that avoid right and wrong and just focus on essentials of staying in power.

What about Johnny Heller’s performance did you like?

Good voice that made a tough subject easier to take.

If you could give The Dictator's Handbook a new subtitle, what would it be?

Everyone wants to keep their jobs, and what they must do along the way.

Heard about this through CGPGrey's YouTube channel and had to give it a listen. Dad likes it too!

When I saw that Kate Mulgrew was reading this story I was unsure. I mean she can pilot a starship and deal with Max Remo but narration?

My concerns were unfounded and I have found another narrator who will be added to my list of favorites who I know will do a story justice.

The story was great, the villains have created a whole new level of WTF I may start comparing others to. I look forward to more books by Mr. Hill and think if he is looking for a voice he has found it.

Best Christmas story of the year!

There was an ad for this book at the beginning of Wired's Geeks Guide to the Galaxy. This was the first book ad that I had heard about so I was tempted and checked it out.

I used a credit and I feel it was a credit well spent. I'm a truck driver and I listen to it while I'm driving in the story made me go the extra mile. If they ever team up again on a book I hope I will hear about it.
