Not Alone: The Final Call audiobook cover art

If you’ve gotten this far in the series you’re obviously going to finish it. I enjoyed this book as much as the other two. I have two complaints, the first is that the ending was extremely fast-paced and could’ve been so much more! The second is relatively small. Although the ending is satisfying for the most part, there are a couple of decisions made that I definitely would’ve liked to seen go a different way.

I listened to this book nonstop until I finished it every last word. And when I say nonstop, I mean it. It grabs your attention and you’re constantly wondering what the next chapter will bring.

And of course I have to mention again how amazing the reader is! In the first book I thought he had a lot of accents and people to have voices for, in this book he had to add even more! Yet they are all very personalized and I just can’t say enough good things about this narrator. I will be looking for more books read by him.

I have to start with the reader. James, you did AMAZING. This guy had so many accents and voices to do and he nailed it all. He made me feel like I was there just watching the entire thing. The characters , specifically Dan, became so real to me I feel like I really know them!

This of course goes back to Craig as well. In my opinion he perfectly described characters and environment but also allowed enough room for your own imagination and mental imagery. I will be immediately reading the next two books. Hope they are just as capturing! Those last five hours of this book...wow.

If you’re looking for a manual to survive the end of the world this is it. Otherwise I found it extremely boring, very slow, and so many characters and names that it took me about halfway through the book to even know who anyone was

This book will go down in history for me. It was unlike anything I’ve read. I didn’t think I would like it because of the comments on its humor but let me tell you, If you don’t like humorous books, you’ll love this one. If you don’t like sci-fi, you’ll still love this one. If you read the summary and the comments and think this book is not for you, you’re wrong. YOU WILL LOVE IT, I promise.

I feel like I’ve been on such a long journey with the characters and author. This book is my favorite thus far in this series. The author did an amazing job at letting the characters grow slowly but in a way it was noticeable for us before the characters even knew! Brilliant writing! I also love the learning lessons and truth behind war and politics we learn here.

There are some small story problems but I still really enjoyed the book and story. The characters were fun and enjoyable to get to know and I definitely recommend. The reader is difficult to get to get used to at first but ultimately fits the character perfectly
