This was book 3 in the "Barretti Security" series. Ren Barretti has finally come home after a year of being held captive by the terrorists who slaughtered his entire Special Forces team. But he can't escape the nightmares that torment him or the guilt that he was the only one to walk away. Ren is suffers from PTSD and he left because he didn't want to hurt anyone in his family like he almost hurt Mia his big brother Vin's girlfriend. Police Detective Declan Hale has felt an undeniable pull towards the very straight Ren Barretti since the day Ren's brother Dom married Declan's younger sister Sylvie almost a dozen years earlier. Tough as nails former soldier and mercenary Jagger Varos has returned to Seattle after years of running from his past and he's hoping that joining Barretti Security Group will help him finally call the city he left behind home. But within weeks, his new beginning is tested after multiple run-ins with the gruff, infuriating Detective Hale. When he inadvertently discovers that Declan is hiding Ren from the very brothers offering Jagger a new start, Jagger finds himself torn between his newfound loyalty to Vin and Dom Barretti and the need to protect the young man he himself helped rescue from his captors. This was a really good read Declan and Jagger took care of Ren showing him that he was safe with them. Each man has been through a lot Jagger with his mother and her boyfriend who is Declan's boss who has had it out for him Jagger also suffered from dyslexia and he was a shame of it and thought that they wouldn't want him when they found out. Declan also went through things like he is in the closet no one knows he is gay and when he told his grandfather he was almost disowned. Ren was straight and he was even more confused when he started having feelings for both men. The sex scenes in this book were hot as hell the three of them had some hot chemistry. This book also brought home the dangers of war and the PTSD seemed so real for me someone who has worked with men and women who have been to war and some of the things that they struggle with when they come home. Each of these men have been through somethings in their past that with the three of them it made them whole. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading and listening to the next book in this series.

This was book 4 in "The Protectors" series. At fifteen years old, Eli Galvez was saved by Dom and Logan when he was taken off the streets he was working when his sister went missing and was killed. After going to college on the east coast he returns to Seattle to get ready for medical school while waiting her volunteers at the hospital that Mattie is in when he meets Maverick. Maverick James has worked for Ronan for a few years Mav is afraid of commitment and letting people get close to him he doesn't think of the guys has is family because the family he was born into left him and disowned him because he was gay and half white and half native American. While working as a cop he ran across police corruption and the other cops turned against him. When he sees Eli after someone beat him up he knows that he has to protect him. What he found out was heart breaking with so much sexual abuse that Eli had to go through. Each one of the guys are having a hard time with the whole thing about how we make a family. Eli doesn't think he is good enough for the Barretti family and Mav never thought of Ronan and the guys as family. When a family tragedy Mav tried to push Eli away but he refused to go so they go together and Mav realized that he had someone that is not leaving him. When one of Eli's friends is hurt while returning his dog he was mistaken as Eli. When everything comes out Eli got to see that the Barretti's are his family and will do anything to protect him also both families meet. This was a good read although I wanted to slap both of them. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

This was book 7 in the "Made Marian" series. I love reading this series and this book was funny. Noah Campbell came to the US from Canada after leaving his boyfriend he always wanted to come to San Francisco he takes a job with Sally the Love Junk sales lady while he waits for his Nursing Licenses to transfer. His first time selling was at Dante and AJ's impromptu bachelor party he was shocked and embarrassed, but the Marian family takes him under their wing and make a bet to see who can find him love by setting him up with someone. Luke is a childhood friend and his roommate he is a manwhore his friends with benefits is a model named Victor. Noah has always had a crush on Luke, but he looks at Noah like a little brother and he is afraid of Noah's big brother. Noah is also keeping his sales job a secret from him when Noah begins dating he meets some people that he becomes friends with. Luke doesn't want Noah dating anyone he wants him but he is scared of commitment. Noah has some good dates and some not so good like Jordan who works as a vet with the family he comes on too strong or Josh who we met in book two he still has a thing for Jaime. Jude and Derek fix him up with Baker who he really likes but he is not Luke. When Luke and Noah have sex it is hot and heavy until Noah's brother and his ex show up. I really liked both of these character's one was afraid of commitment and the other couldn't do the whole sex without it. When Noah moves out he moves in with Dante and AJ. While out on a date with Haywood from book five he has an accident and ends up in the hospital with all the Marians at his side. This was a really good book and when Noah gets drunk Luke finds out what he is really selling it was funny or when Tilly tries to fix him with a friends son who turns out to be straight and doing one of his mother's friends it was funny and Granny and Irene trying to hook him up with a leather daddy I laughed so hard I cried. I hope the author writes about Joel and Simone as she tried to fix Noah up with him and he thought he was on a date with her. This book was well written I love this series with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading more about the Marian family and their

This was book 6 in the "Made Marian" series. Dante Marian was rescued from his father's church basement when he was 15 years old is father is a politician who believes in conversion therapy as away to stop his son from being gay. Dante is a quite shy 23 year old virgin he also has panic attacks. Angel "AJ" Flores is the nephew of Londa she is the woman ran the youth center. AJ just moved to S.F. to start a new job with on the Six a security firm that Derek use to work for. AJ has a secret he was the man that rescued Dante eight years ago he doesn't want to get to close to Dante, but he is very attracted to him. Dante has a lot of demons in his past that he thought he dealt with but when his father begins running for Congress he is put back in the stoplight along with being the director of "Marian House" . This book was funny and nothing was funnier than Aunt Tilly, Granny and Irene and the sex toy party trying to learn how to give BJ's. Also in this book Tilly gets in some trouble when she gets drunk in Vegas and marries a Senator and the Secret Services shows up looking for her. This was a really good book and AJ and Dante has a few issues to get over like Dante realizing that AJ was the Angel that rescued him. I had a lot of issues with his parents although it was is mother that called AJ's dad to rescue Dante she did not stand up for him what kind of mother wouldn't be their for there child. His father was a real piece of work he was a reverend and to treat his only child the way he did was something I will never understand I know that this is a book but there are people in this world who treat there kids this way is just sad to me. This book had some hot sex scenes in it I liked that AJ was patient with Dante and didn't want to rush him. This book was well written with the rest of the books in this series with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Tate Travers has been on the run for two years with his little boy Mattie turns out he is on the run from his brother and his father. When Hawke pulls a gun on them Tate tells him that he has the wrong brother and he doesn't know where they are. When he leaves Tate runs again when he takes Mattie to the doctor he finds out that his son has leukemia he doesn't know what he's going to do he doesn't have the money to pay for treatment until Hawke shows up and pays for it they make a deal he will pay for the treatment if Tate agrees to help him. Hawke has been living for the day to make the men that killed his wife and baby and nothing else along with Ronan he rids the world of criminals who get away with some of the worse crimes known to men. Hawke is straight but he can't explain the feeling he gets when he looks at Tate. This was a really good book Tate just wanted to be loved but Hawke doesn't know how to let his wife go he hasn't been with anyone in ten years as Mattie begins treatment with the help of Ronan and Seth they leave and go to Tate's hometown. They don't find Buck or Denny. When they have sex it is rough and lacking lube which I didn't like because Hawke almost rapes Tate and Tate is willing to take it because he needs someone and so does Tate. This was a really good read Hawke will do anything to protect Tate and Mattie. The sex scenes are hot. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. Review This was a really good book that I liked. Toby Andrews is a busy, forgetful, scatterbrained musician with ADHD with his little dog Ruffles. When photos of him having an orgy while doing cocaine off some guys "Johnson" comes out his manger Gary tells him that he needs to stop or he would be putting his upcoming record contract in jeopardy he also tells him that he needs his ass redden. Toby comes across an ad for a Dom. Thorne is going through the motions of life he doesn't want to be a hired Dom for much longer so he tells himself that this will be his last job. When he gets to Toby's apartment and see how dirty it is he knows that he has his work cutout for him. Toby is dealing with a lot he has a stalker and backstabbing bandmates and when he gets sick after a practice session Thorne takes him to the doctor where he finds out that he is pregnant. Thorne knows that Toby needs someone in his corner his parents are busy with there own lives with his father being a senator Toby comes from high society he is living on a trust fund with Thorne he learns how to find his center he does his daily chores that he set for him and he loves his punishments. I wanted to see more of the BDSM aspects in this book. This book also had some funny scenes in it after these two got married at first for show to help Toby who was in love with Thorne. When the stalker tried to take him again and what his Ruffles attacked him it was funny. This was my first time these authors this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Caring about anyone or anything is asking to be disappointed, which is why I avoid relationships and chase freelance gigs instead of chasing my dreams. Besides, dreams don't come true for people like me. And no one, not even the sexy-as-hell bartender at the club can convince me otherwise. Because I'm never risking my heart again.

This was book 4 in the "Made Marian" series. I loved this book and this series its like a feel good series too me. Griffin "Griff" Marian learned early that the best way to avoid getting hurt is to run. He was kicked out for being gay his mother died when he was 8 he lived on the street until he was adopted by Thomas and Rebecca Marian adopted him. Griff is a freelance writer and while doing an assignment at a bar about pick up lines he meets Sam Coxwell. Sam is a bartender at a bar called "Harry Dick's" he is a trained chef that lost his job when he got a bad review. Sam see's Griff come to the bar hitting on men left and right and he thinks he is a hooker at first when they meet at a shelter that Griff and his family volunteer at he begins to get to know him. Sam who raised his little sister after his parents got divorced and his mother left them with their grandmother his father owns a NFL team. Both of these guys have been hurt by people who were suppose to love and protect them. When these two started hooking up it was hot and heavy Griff's family loved and welcomed Sam into there family. I really liked the fact that both of them decided to push each other to follow their dreams and not let fear rule them. I also loved how Sam showed Griff that he would be there for him no matter what. We also got to see the other couples Tristian and Blue had a baby and the grannies are still up to no good. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
