What do you do when you want to bang your sister-in-law's best friend? You have two options: forget about it or go for it. Jake tried to go for it on multiple occasions but Addy shot him down because she didn't want commitment and he was her best friend's brother-in-law. However, at the wedding reception, all bets were off. They agreed to one night, no strings.

So how did that work out? Yeah, exactly. Not as planned. When does it ever work out as planned?

Watching them up on the mountain was comical. But I think the best part was at the end of the book with their surprise announcement. You'll have to read/listen to know what it is.

How can you go wrong with a single parent story narrated by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York?

This story was real. Lori had to deal with every single mother's worst nightmare ... the father. I loved that she had a backbone and played hardball with him. And I loved that she didn't just give in the Graham and let him deal with it. I think the best part of the story was seeing how happy Milo was to get a dad. Growing up in a single parent household, with no male role-model, had to have been hard for him and it was good for him to have Graham. I really liked that he asked questions pertinent to his age and feelings when Graham asked him to marry his mom. You could sense his fear and then relief after the discussion.

I love these narrators. I am truly amazed at the range of voices that Andi Arndt has. She can pull off fun loving, young, older, male, female, everything. Amazing.

I fell in love with this book. It has all of the feels. Landon is a widower who lives a solitary life. Maddie had a bad breakup that nearly cost her everything. Yet these two come together, no questions asked. And all family members accept them. It is such a sweet love story.

The narration is incredible. I mean who else could top Andi Arndt and Sebastian York. I can't wait to hear them in the rest of the series.

How can you go wrong with a rock star hero and movie star heroine? Add in both characters are very family oriented and put others before themselves. And finally, you have a wedding, a proposal and two babies. I mean what more can you ask for?

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I love seeing how bossy Trish is and how Boone just wants her to be happy. It will be interesting to see how they blend their careers, but if anyone can do it they can.

This was a tough story to tell in relation to the past and the emotions brought forth by the movie. The narration conveyed the anger, frustration and need to avoid the emotions. The accent on Cage was really good and brought back memories of New York.

Bakery owner Willow Dalton's friendship with Zane Walker has always been a bit complicated. Now a scrumptiously hot A-list actor, Zane's always had a reputation as a player. He's arrogant, and he's definitely not boyfriend material. Sure, he did Willow a favor by agreeing to take her virginity before college, but is that reason enough for her to go along with a fake engagement a decade later - even if it comes with a real diamond ring?

This is a really sweet hometown story of love. Zane couldn't wait to get out of Sweetwater when he turned 18, but he left behind his first and only love, Willow. She gave him her virginity and then he deserted her for fame and fortune. Now he needs her. He needs her to deceive her family and pretend to be his fiancee to fix his reputation.

Wait for it ... That's right. He never stopped loving her and now he wants her for keeps. But is it too late?

John Lane provided a gruff and gritty performance and I loved him as Zane. You could hear tears in his voice during his confession and love in the gritty, growly revelation of love.

A definite must listen. You will enjoy the banter and the heavier moments.

Every girls dream is to hook up with a rock star. Casey got to live the dream. Yes it came with baggage, but what relationship doesn't. I found this story to be very realistic, minus the rock star. No, not everyone lives through what Jake went through, but the way he dealt with it was what I found true to nature. Not wanting to talk about it. Drowning his pain and anxiety in music. Avoiding the media. Avoiding his family. He had fears and nightmares and flashbacks and he couldn't predict when they would happen and it angered him. All of these are normal responses. Yes he moved on, but it was still there. And that is real life.

I love that Casey is just an ordinary girl. Even she doesn't understand what Jake sees in her. Another real life experience. Everyone is looking down at her because she's not gorgeous as a model or actress or female pop star, but she is what Jake wants and needs.

I enjoyed the performances of the narrators. They brought to life the pain, fear, anxiety, love, laughter and fun of this book. I can't wait to listen to the next one.

How do you separate your feelings for the land you love and the man you love when both are in direct competition?

Duke wants to invest in the island that Gabriella has called home all of her life. Ella is the lawyer responsible for negotiating the investment deal. How is she supposed to do what's right for the island when she doesn't know what that is? Is it building a resort and increasing the tourism or is it keeping the island the way it is? Change is hard. Will she be able to see what needs to be done and follow through without adversely affecting her relationship with Duke? So many questions ...

Will everyone be happy with the end result? Only time will tell.

The narration was incredible in this book. Mr. Harrison portrays the southern/greek combo with great enthusiasm. I especially enjoyed his rendition of Gabriella's grandfather. It was dead on for the role. I can't wait to see what happens with the island and the family dynamics and how life will change for everyone.

I'd been known to have my share of beautiful women. Usually, I met them in a bar, through a mutual acquaintance, or even when photographing them. Imagine my surprise when a gorgeous blonde drove her car into mine on the way to a party. No more than a minute after our run-in, a string of colorful words flew from her mouth in rapid fire. Inexplicably, the angrier she became, the harder I got. All sorts of scenarios played in my head of how I could get her to shut up. When I learned she was a school teacher, that worsened my disposition.

The narration was incredible. Both Tor Thom and Charley Ongel did a fabulous job. With accents and various characterizations, they nailed everything.

I highly recommend this book. You will laugh out loud at some of the antics. I can't wait for the next book.

This was a sweet story with lots of adversity. Fear, embarrassment, honesty (or lack of), hurt feelings and of course love. And I'm sure I'm forgetting more emotions contained in this book.

I found the storyline very intriguing. Ms. Foster brought up a subject that is a current issue in society today and I feel like she did it justice. She showed the jealousy and morality of the issue and how it affects others and how their reactions affect the main character.

There was a lot of emotion in the narration. Mr. Harrison brought all of the feels to his performance.

It was a joy to see Cash and Sienna again. I can't wait for more Ryders.

As the first book in this series, I wasn't sure what to expect and I was blown away. Dare is growly and protective of those he loves, but he has issues of not feeling good enough. Kenzie is a strong woman who knows she's good at what she does, but she's uncomfortable getting into a relationship after her divorce. Both are in need of some TLC.

Let us not forget the rest of the Collins family. Fox is just a smart a$$ and Lach is brooding. You can definitely tell Dare and Lach are related. But Fox is the oddball and keeps them balanced. Plus their sister Tabby knows how to keep them in line.

There is lots of action, literally and figuratively, in this book. I enjoyed the banter of the siblings and how they all came together when there was a threat. They are family oriented, but yet independent. I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series.

As for the narration, I listened to it on single speed, but there were times it felt like it was playing much faster. I had to keep checking to make sure I didn't change the speed. Otherwise the narration was great. Each character was its own. I highly recommend this book and now I'm going to go back and read more of the Montgomery Ink series.
