Whilst I thoroughly enjoyed the narration of this book I did not love it. I felt it was a bit monotone-ish at times and just lack emphasis at certain key points.
Some certain parts came across better in audible but other parts I felt touched my heart more when being read.
I was kindly gifted this audible book by the author.
BOOK REVIEW
A MUST read story of love and community.
Ms Arend writes the type of stories about people and places that are so good, I really want to live there.
A real feel good, heart-warming sweet read that just makes you tingle all over and leaves you feeling content and happy.
Three wonderful characters are the crux of this story but all the others help make this story as good as it is.
The strength of friendship and love shines through in this story. The support given in a time of need and the absolutely beautiful cafe scene part of this story where the children give up a gift for Christmas and give them to Chrissy was just so sweet.
Love what a gentleman Brad is and so glad it is Hanna who steps up to move their relationship on.
Hope Mark the brother gets his story one day.
This is my honest review of this book.

Good narration, easy to listen to.
Though there is not as much action in this book even though it starts with a bang and ends with a swoosh, the sweetness of both Chase and Sophie really comes through in audible.
I did find Chase’s wolf seemed more vocal in audible than reading.
BOOK REVIEW
A great story that brings another cleverly hidden pearl to light, in the beautiful island of Maui.
Do yourself a favour and read this series of wonderful characters. Ms Lowe has a way of making her characters real and you really do get invested in them.
You could read this as a standalone but you will want to read the other books after you do.
We also have an interesting storyline in regards to Sophie's background and what she was trying to leave behind.
Sophie and Chase have been making goo goo eyes at each other for quite a few months now over the counter of the smoothie truck Sophie works at.
Our very sweet natured and wonderful Chase has finally made a move to be with his mate Sophie. They are going on a date but before they can, things get blown all to hell and back.
These two sweet main characters must be two of the nicest and most innocent people ever.
No matter their backgrounds, there is a purity to Chase and Sophie that endears them to you.
Moira and her plans are once again causing problems but our guys are able to defeat this latest problem.
Loved how Chases’ home pack was protected and are now safe and secure.
This is my honest review of this book.

Whilst the narration is descriptive, well-paced and good and I thoroughly enjoyed listening, every now and then it seemed to not have the impact of reading the book and at other times, some scenes came across as more powerful listening. Listening really does give you a different vision in ones head, as sometimes I thought, I don’t remember that. BOOK REVIEW Dell comes through, with Anjali's help of course and shows the others a more responsible side. Lovely story with a great plot and likeable characters and Destiny doing its thing, gifting another Pearl of Desire to Anjali in a very unique way. Anjali has been on the rat race, 80 hour gig week for years. Helping an old friend out ends up turning Anjali’s whole life around. When her friend ends up dead, leaving her baby alone with Anjali, Anjali does the only thing she can think of, tracking down Quinn’s uncle, Dell. Anjali starts off as a workaholic but soon learns how to relax and get into island time. Loved how calm she was and the two of then doing yoga was very good. Dell finally gets the reason his life has needed to become the man he should have always been, if not overshadowed by his older brother. I love that Ms Lowe has kept him with his man-child behaviour though as I loved his actions playing around with Joey. Not that he needs them as he has his true family around him but I wonder if he will ever reconnect with his birth family. Especially to introduce Quinn to them. Moira makes an appearance once again and really stirs up some trouble. Whilst I can understand the others opinions, I am annoyed at them for their doubts in believing Dell was unfit to raise Quinn. Glad he proved them all wrong. With Anjali’s help of course. I was kindly given this book by the author but I read it thorough KU. This is my honest review of this book.

Whilst I enjoyed the narrator I did not love her. She gamely did well with a variety of speech patterns. This is my first ever audible review where I have not read the book first. I have to say this has been a very interesting and entertaining time listening to this story. Loved the way Ms Langlais has turned the gender equation around but kept Azteriya just as overbearing, obnoxious and full of herself as any male warrior we have read about before. Her stubbornness leads to adventures, her description, not Jedrik’s. Love the overall story, the quirkiness and humour and the ending with her parents was fun. I own every book in this series but have not purchased this one yet due to time constraints. I will be buying the book to add to my collection. A good narration with the accents and inflections. Loved Maya and Lex and their interactions.
Still find the story upsetting about the previous visitor being dissected and killed.
BOOK REVIEW
3.5 stars. Really enjoyed this short fun story and liked both Lex and Maya. Didn’t have enough fun with Alphie this time. Not as good as book one as we stay on earth.
Liked the thinking of getting them to choose each other but it was a bit of a risk using Amanda as the fake betrothed.
Hated the fact another alien who had previously come to claim his mate had been captured and killed by the military arses. Cannot understand the Oracle and ancestors letting that happen and the poor woman who was his mate is now left alone on earth.
I own the original version which has been read and reviewed previously but they are missing.

Plump Diana is ironing her underwear when the hottest blue babe in all of the galaxy appears in her living room. Did she forget to mention he was naked too? Abducted, decontaminated, and dressed like a harem girl, she's been chosen to become the hunky alien's mate. Kor asked his ancestors to find him a biddable, docile mate, instead they found him Diana - a curvy, argumentative earthling who sets his pulse pounding and his loins on fire. He might be an alien who doesn't understand the meaning of love, but he sure knows what he feels is more than lust.

BOOK REVIEW
Short fun read with a visit to an alien planet.
A good fun read that has a feisty smart mouthed woman taken as the mate/bride of a big blue alien. Liked Kor and found him funny with his belief that he wanted a docile mate. He definitely didn’t get that.
Enjoyed the vision of life on his planet and loved the story that unfolded there with his crazy half-brother. But was really upset about what Claire did. Her poor husband and baby.
Best of the three books for me.
I own the original version which has been read and reviewed previously but they are missing.

I'm a witch. Not a good one or a bad one, although according to the snooty wizards, I'm a stain upon their robes. But who cares what those snobs say? I've got a job to do: stop demons from infiltrating Earth and killing all the witches. Concentrating on my job is hard, though. First, the guy who's decided he's going to help me is hotter than Arizona in the summer. Second, demons are targeting witches such as me because, apparently, we're a tasty snack. Finally, the kitten I adopted has gone missing, and if I'm not mistaken, a demon stole it.

Interesting to hear a story after one has read it. Very descriptive narration, felt like I was on the island. Listening really brings to life how horrible Hailey’s mother is and I hated that she gets a good ending. Hailey gives her too much compensation and compassion, especially after the nasty thing she did to Joelle. Enjoyable narration but due to outside circumstances it was disrupted a lot. Renovations going on in my house kept disturbing my listening time therefore breaking the flow of the story. I will be listening to this book again when I have some peace and quiet. BOOK REVIEW Another great story by this author. The Pearls of Desire are the focus of this series and they have a sad history attached to them but they help out those with true love in their hearts. Great story and well written plot that keeps us moving forward whilst still being around some of my favourite book characters. Took a while to warm up to Hailey as I felt she was weak willed, letting herself be manoeuvred all the time by other people. I understand her emotional connection to her mother but how long was she going to support her mother in an over inflated lifestyle. I can also understand her loathing of the media circus that would have ensued with her making a scene but this was her life that was being shanghaied. I did like her by the end of the book. Tim is such a sweetie. Cannot say enough about how lovely he was but once again the male chickens out of being honest with a woman he knows is his mate. Love the intertwined past between Jody and Hailey via the modelling campaigns. Hated the self-centred, self-absorbed mother and she did nothing to redeem herself. This is my honest review of this book.

The narrator is one I have listened to before and enjoyed. He does a good job but in this book I did not like was his impression of Maisie, I imagine her with a deeper, nastier tone. When listening to this the emotions are more realistic. You feel the sadness and anger over the harm done to Melanie by Maisie. And I felt so sorry for poor Brice when everything looked glum. Brice was just so funny with his love of all things maple Syrupy and I laughed at what he did to his grandad as payback. The epilogue was very entertaining and the teaser for Rory so interesting and I really want to read his story. Will need to see if it has been written yet. BOOK REVIEW A brilliantly entertaining short read. Great story with a funny twisty plot. I did get upset when the truth of Melanie’s life came out, it was just so sad. Such a good fun madcap read. Fiancées who are not fiancées, Imposters who are not imposters and dying grandads who are not dying. Liked the two main characters very much and most of the other characters were entertaining in their own way. Found the blurb for Rory’s book intriguing. Will be reading that.

Loved the narration with this book. Mr McAllister just made it sound so much fun and I could just see Kyle, his expressions, his poses and his antics. He had him down to a T. Even my husband was listening and asking questions so I had to keep pausing the story to answer him. Cyrstal is great and Gigi was such a cutie. Loved the book and have read it at least 5-6 times but will be listening to the audible version for years to come. BOOK REVIEW I don’t often give 5 stars but this book deserves them. The first few lines in this book say it all. But do you recall the most vain ex-soldier of all. Kyle is just wonderful in this book, he is just so endearing and weird about everything and talks in mission terms to himself to help him cope with things. His mission list was so funny. Crystal is a cougar shifter with a daughter Gigi who wraps Kyle around her little finger and sooths his hurt heart. The banter and snark between Crystal and Kyle was the best ever. His carry on about being Rudolph was so funny. Loved the whole Christmas theme and the Epilogue was superb. This series has to be re-read time and time again for the sheer enjoyment each book brings.
